    Man I love your reviews because you always give deep details on the car and show it as well rather than giving irrelevant history and specs that people can clearly Google within 5 or 10 seconds.

    The four cylinder does not deactivate two cylinders in advanced efficiency mode - only the QV does. Also, the lights don't "pivot" left and right - there are additional lights that active when turning left and right.

    • @lukefox01
      @lukefox01 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      How so? I bought a used 2017 Giulia TI with 20K miles a month ago and I love it. No issues so far, but obviously I've barely had it. From what I've heard from other owners, they are pretty reliable and also relatively cheap to service/repair. I heard some figures of about 30% cheaper than Audi/BMW/Merc. Fantastic car and 2017 models are still under the 4 year/ 50,000 mile warranty. Let me know if you have any questions. I would definitely recommend it though, cheaper than a new honda civic or Toyota corolla are long as you get it used.

    There's a lot to like about this car. However, the Giulia leases are pretty horrible right now. Combine that with their limited dealer network and lack of a reliability history I'm going to wait and see. I think Alfa is really missing out on an opportunity to capture a chunk of the market right now. The 3-series is long-in the tooth and won't see a new version for more than a year. They should be launching the Giulia with cracking lease/finance deals.

    • @Katievandaalenwetters

      what do you mean? They are extremely affordable. $350-$400 a month with sports package and other great features. That's less than leasing a BMW or Mercedes in the same class. Better than an overpriced BMW which is boring

    Very thorough overview, but why this trend in America to speak in the future tense about the present? You aren’t “going to have” nice soft leather or alloy wheels; you “have” nice soft leather and allow wheels. Now. Not in the future at some indeterminate point.

    not really - Jo are you presently owning and driving an Alfa - if so what does your screen tell you about oil chg intervals - mine until today showed from 0-16,000 kms or 10,000 miles as I live in Ontario Canada, just came from my dealership and lo and behold the manual according to the dealership says 6,500 kms or 3,600 miles on synthetic - are you kidding me and best of all the fact that I followed my infotainment screen at 16,000 kms., I could have voided the warranty. Now they changed the oil, I got 8 free oil changes from the original dealership and you would think that this is transferable to any ALFA dealership in North America - well think gain it is not. After they change the oil they had to reset when the next oil change should take place - guess what it defaulted to 16,000 kms and not as the manual suggests - there is major disconnect for this car and engineering - the service persona had to call Italy as he did not know how to reset the next oil change schedule OMG what is wrong with this company they are so effed up - Buyer beware,Buyer beware,Buyer beware,Buyer beware

      lol. Ferrari is the most influential car brand in the world (source: Forbes)
      And about Alfa Romeo: today, the platform Giulia and Stelvio are based on (chassis, weight, weight's distribution front/rear 50:50, steering wheel, suspensions, engines), is the best in the world in its segment. It's at least 1 years that all the world specialised press has pointed it out. Only to german cars-fan boys that's not clear yet.
      Where's the BMW M3 at Nurburgring? Oh yes, it has to come yet...I go to drink something while I'm waiting. Come with me?

    • @johan4187

      The appearance of maserati is decent, Ferrari's are exotic cars but overrated it also has rearaxle and aerodynamic problems, Sebastian Vettel did a nice job in Fiorano tho. And then alfa romeo... I've seen enough Giulia's stuck with problems like: a frozen infotainment system, jammed parking sensors, more other different infotainment system failings, dismounted camshafts etc. And the Giulia is a critically important car for Alfa Romeo, one that aims to establish the brand, and for this quick development they did a decent job. But as long as I'm told alfa romeo has and still is suffering from a reputation for poor quality for decades now. And I'm not just a germany cars-fan boy, I'm not really a fan of the Volkswagen motorization, exept for BMW, I'm more a fancier of the JDM engines tbh.

      You realize every car brand learned a thing or two from Italian cars especially Alfa and Ferrari. Alfa is a special car brand that BMW strives to be.
