What is the MOST you make in dividend income in 1 month?
Hi Thank you for your videos , I am an beginner. Are all these USA or Canada? I follow to the T your advices
US@@lusinhauk
Abbv(100 shares)
Vici(465 shares)
Mo(50 shares)
ScHD(2,724 shares)
Sold 275 shares of O last week!
Thanks for your great videos! They are very informational and have helped me set myself up for growing income well into my later years. 300k in Dividend Portfolio at 42YO! 🎉🎉
You are very welcome! Thanks for tuning in
Bro.....when did you start?
@@jamestateIII it’s all in retirement account that was started in 2009. I switched it ALL over to dividend investing last year.
how much monthly income does this provide?
Got O and SCHD. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Just for fun you should go over the 10 highest yield dividend stocks
I own O, SCHD. Dividend income is $8400 a year. Got ETFs, Index funds, stocks, and REITs.
Awesome!! And that number is likely to keep growing.
How
Oh i should have said it took years for me to build that. Learning how to buy better and it is definitely a long term strategy for me. Don't listen to anyone who says anyone can do it in a short time! Time, compounding, good decisions....
@@karenl6479what’d you buy during the beginning of your journey in the long term holding?
Thanks for your time and effort Mark. Your content is very helpful
I appreciate that!
I got O, SCHD and VICI. Thanks for the video!
Greetings from Europe (Serbia). I own JNJ and MO. I am gonna buy SCHD next month. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks for tuning in!
I own JNJ, Abbv, Mo, O , Vici thanks to you and the Schd
I hold 3 out of the 7 (JJ, O, and SCHD) from the ones you discussed in todays video. I also hold GAIN, GLAD, AGNC, HRZN, MAIN, and AGCN as other dividend yielding stocks.
Would be more helpful if you told us how much you own of each to receive the $500 a month.
It’s a numbers game and when he invested is different right now.
should I use these dividend stocks for Roth IRA or my brokerage account?
the yield on bonds have decreased especially on the long end (30 and 10 Y) indicating that the demand is still there even if the supply remains huge showing a preference for safety. I'm still at a crossroad regarding whether or not to liquidate my $138k
Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.
I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000
Please will you be kind enough to share the details of the man that helped you?
Actually its a Lady. Yes my go to person is a 'MARY KALIOPE BRAUN'. So easy and compassionate Lady. You should take a look at her work.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up after scrolling a bit. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks
I like the emphasis you make at 0:22 about quality>quantity
Great stocks/funds to have in the portfolio. Great minds think alike 😂 I own 6 out of 7, all except VFIAX. I have SCHD as my core. Thanks for sharing
VFIAX is just S&P 500 exposure which you have probably with just another fund so likely 7 out of 7
Gotta love those reliable dividend growers! SCHD, EXR, & SBUX are my biggest yielders in my portfolio.
Great group you got!
Thank you for the knowledge
mark your stock videos are one of a kind - entering the world of investment, pleased with your valuable information, best
Thanks, Mark, for another excellent video presentation on 7 interesting investment candidates. Good stuff! I currently own ABBV, O, SCHD and VICI.
4 of my favorites
Thank you Mark. Nice overview on these stocks. I have 6 of the 7 but not VFIAX but I have QQQ, QQQM, VGT in my other accounts.... ThanX so much for your quality work.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video
Great video!
I own a few on this list myself!
Also, when it comes to ETFs or similar holdings in your portfolio (which if you plan to hold on to and invest more into for many years), you definitely need to be aware of management fees. They might not seem like a lot in the beginning, but it can make a huge difference in the long run!
The best teacher ever
Thank you so much ☺️ 😊
Wow thank you!
ABBVs debt is starting to worry me a little. Still holding for now though.
FCF will start ramping up again soon to take care of some of that
I own SCHD, MO, and O. I am mostly in MO so working on trying to invest more in other areas to spread it out more. I'm probably going to need to add at least a couple more dividend stocks to lower the risk.
Diversification is key
Thanks Mark. I own VICI, O, VFIAX and SCHD.
Great holdings you got there!
great vid, whats the weighting of SCHD compared to VFAIX in your portfolio?
Great video. Lots of good companies here. Just a question, if REIT's must have a payout ratio of 90% why does VICI only pay 74% ??
They are required to payout 90% of their TAXABLE income is the requirement
Nice Video!
back in the day my dad owned a couple of lots with one of them being an area in las vegas where the Tropicana is sitting on, dad sold it for a hew hundred bucks and kept the other ones in new mexico. we could have been quiet welthy but idk 🤷🏻♂️
I own JNJ, MO and SCHD from this list; I expect about $600 from JNJ and MO, and $5,500 from SCHD this year. Used to hold ABBV, but traded that in for SCHD a year ago.
Solid! You get a good amount of ABBV with SCHD
@@MarkRoussinCPAI'm just focusing on ETFs going forward. I would like to unload JNJ and MO, but they are both too cheap to sell at the moment.
I have positions in all of these with the index fund being in the form of VOO. I want about 80% of my portfolio in ETFs I think, so I’m investing in less individual stocks now.
I have some shares of all of these except JNJ and I have 60% of my portfolio in SPY (instead of the vanguard 500). I should stick with these types of investments but I keep putting money in Chinese stocks every time there is another general drop in price.
I'd like to revise my vote on the number of rate drops we'll see in 24. I'm changing to 1 rate hike of .25 then perhaps on drop before the year ends.
Wow that would be a HUGE change of events
@@MarkRoussinCPA the economy keeps humming along. ABBV made me smile today. ABT on the other hand..ugg
What did you think of Powell on 60 minutes?
Same story we heard at the press conference for the most part @@tfc850
Don't have any index or ETF's but I have positions in the others except for $ABBV
50 shares in MO too. Was looking at it for some time, and when it recently hit 40$, I went for it. Looking at the price history, I hope it doesn’t drop below 40 and stays in the 40s range, so I get some appreciation + dividend.
MO = stock with bond like quality. Own it for (dividends) income, era of stock price appreciation is in the rear view mirror. It’s customer base is shrinking. I am long MO, BTI and PM
TL;DR
JNJ 3%
ABBV 3.77%
VICI 5.51%
O 5.66%
MO 9.77%
VFIAX 1.37%
SCHD 3.49%
I like this video...i own a few of these. Please tell me...whats the best Gold (precious metal) stock etf or best Gold invest in?
Ive only ever used GLD
@@MarkRoussinCPA SDPR gold shares? That what comes up on Stash....inuse Stash for investing
Good video. Should i sell IWF & VBK and split it into these 7 stocks?
Mark, your thoughts on cleaning up the marketers in the comments.
I am long ABBV, JNJ, VICI & MO.
Man, I erase TONS of them on a daily basis, its crazy. Wish YT would do something about them
Thanks
I own ABbv, O, MO and SCHD
GRPH $3.80 +21% announced late Friday the record date for the special dividend of ($1.03/ share) to be paid on March 21st to shareholders as of record March 18th
Schd is good but when I saw there turn over % fees I shocked. Because it’s eat my half of dividends. S&P 500 is best. And JNJ, O , PEP, KO, PG, MMM, Honeywell, Apple
Mark, do you hold all 7 of these securities in a taxable brokerage account or in a retirement account? Thanks!
Mixed, but I try and keep as many dividend stocks/ETFs within my Roth IRA
@@MarkRoussinCPA Roger that. Thanks for responding! For those who need extra cash now to pay bills or pay down debt, then their only option regarding dividend income is to keep these securities in a taxable account and pay taxes on it, correct?
what you think about JEPI? good or bad dividend etf to buy?
Not for me
@@MarkRoussinCPA Just for my own education, why is it bad?
The title of this video says "stocks that pay me over $500/month." But then, you mentioned that you own 300 shares of VICI, which pays $1.66 in annual dividend, which comes to a bit shy of $500 per year. Anyway, nice presentation. I liked it.
He says these 7 stocks together pay him 500 a month
Exactly, thanks for clarifying @@JEFFREY42100
@@JEFFREY42100 Ah! Thank you; it was not clear from the title.
Ok Mark, see in this video you emphasize free cash flow as a reliable source for company growth and to pay dividends. And you say negative free cash flow isn’t reliable. Yet VICI was a REIT holding for you and you say it’s your largest REIT position. Can you explain your double strategy?
I went through the VICI operating cash flow in the video. Remember with REITs, some calculations change. For example we never look at EPS payout ratio with REITs because of how its calculated from a GAAP perspective
@@MarkRoussinCPA so there grossly negative free cash flow that pays the dividends are more attractive as a REIT than a standard dividend paying stock?
@@MarkRoussinCPA that would be a good subject to go over in a video or on the power hour.
Today I added LAMR Reits to my portfolio
LAMR out door advertising? Bill boards? The family that owns a majority stake seem to be shareholder friendly and think long term.
@Dividendflywheel that is what I certainly agree on I hold them for generations to come
Im not sure why the video says more than 500$ monthly when there are quarterly dividends that you mention, i get it if you average it out but misleading altogether because regardless you cant average it in until you get that quarterly dividend. So technically your not getting paid monthly. I guess i just expected to see actual monthly payments or dividends. Anyways good luck all lets make that money
If you invest enough any dividend paying stocks can make you $500/month. Title very misleading, but informative
Does americans pays tax for REITs dividend?
IF in a taxable account, YES
Why vfiax instead of voo? Same s&p 500.
Ive had it forever. I also have some SPY
What I don't understand
What this is all about
Can someone help me explain better what is dividend stocks?
When you invest money into a stock the company will give you a payout at the end of the month depending on their percentage
Buying in Canada or USA?
US
Currently I own 3 of the 7
Pay well if you can afford about a million shares or more
❤NVDY - Your welcome. I put ALOT in there and my dividends retired me, AND I'm investing them in other things instead of NVDY. What do you think my portfolio been doing???? WOW!
You should show how much it would cost too instead of just saying 100 shares would give you so and so
Example
300 shares of VICI multiplied by $30/share would be $9000. If he made a lump sum purchase at $30.
Vici dividend is $1.66 per share and growing.
• Another thing to consider VICI has fluctuated from ~$16 to $36 in last 5 years. If he was dollar cost averaging then his cost basis would likely be less.
• Most important thing is use his journey as motivation to embark on your own investing journey
Good luck 😊
Who care how many?, ONLY yeald! Maters!
When u grow up!?
Kind of a misleading title, no?
Cherry picked safe and Boring low dividend companies. But good for the conservative low information investor.
Dividends are a sht form of passive income if they only bring you $500 per month. You can't live off that, so it's nothing. You need 10x that amount.
Hahaha its called a process my friend. Also, these are 7 stocks Im highlighting, I have roughly 50 total positions. Making $$ while you sleep is about as passive as it gets
I don’t think he revealed his entire portfolio 😊
2nd investing is a journey of decades not months.
3rd the real exponential growth (six figures) occurs in the later part of the 2nd decade
Consider these numbers
Invest $1000 per month at 10%
In 10 years = $201,000
In 15 years = $401,000
In 20 years = $723,000
In 25 years $1.2million
Use it as a side hustle bud until it can pay for your life style
VFAIX , O, SCHD , ABBV that I own.
