we chose this song for my grandmas funeral. I didn't cry the whole funeral but as soon as this song started playing I cried my eyes out. I remembered the times where I sat on my granny's couch and the Elvis Presley CD played on the recorder behind me. I will forever miss you. you're always on my mind.

I’m 60 years old and I’m from Switzerland (Lucerne), I’ve been listening to Elvis since I was 10 years old, I watched Elvis' live concert in Hawaii in 1973. I appreciate many kinds of good music, I also know all the songs of Johnny Cash and June Carter (Great) and other great artists. However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time, but in all his songs, all the power of his soul comes out. One could also say that he gave his whole heart to his listeners. This way is definitely unique and I think it will remain so.

RIP Lisa Marie (1968-2023).
It was towards the end of his Vegas contracts and the time he fired his manager that he began to get lost. His manager blackmailed him and kept Elvis from fulfilling his destiny to be a dramatic actor and touring around the world. The manager could not go outside the US & as a result stifled Elvis from achieving his dreams.
Elvis just played the US his entire life.
The manager gave him a great start but his gambling sickness & immigration problems held Elvis back.
So, after Parker shafted him w/ a bill for years of stuff he claimed Elvis owed him money for & a threat of exposure of his private issues, Elvis had to hire him back and THAT is when he got heavier into escaping his limitations thru drugs. It was the beginning of the end. A slow 5 year self-destruct due to loss of hope & a dream. So tragically sad.
