Churches want to make a point vs. wanting to keep a relationship - accurate. SO ACCURATE. This was awesome to see and hear about, and I honestly had been curious because I know you come from such a religious background and I wasn't sure how your family reacted. You always seemed to have a good relationship with your family, but you had never mentioned how they reacted so, this was cool. You two are both awesome. Go you.
+Emily Hornburg Right?! It is true I don't really talk about my family much on here, but as you can see my brother has been super supportive and awesome despite our upbringings. It has been a process for sure when it comes to my parents but they have come a long way and am grateful for that.
Cody_talks I'm glad they're so supportive, and it makes sense that you may not talk about them a ton on here. I try not to bring up family a whole lot either because I want them to have their privacy. It's great they've come a long way though!
This made me so HAPPY to see! So happy to know (even though I don't know you outside of social media lol) that you have family that supports you genuinely! It made my heart smile :)
This interview is amazing! I'm so happy you've got such a great relationship with your brother and he seems to get so much about your experience. I'm getting inspired to try something like that too sometime!
From Atlanta as well!. I like seeing how close yall are. My twin and I are the same. She knows about my sexuality and she doesn't see a difference.. Love is love. Family is everything
Wow is your brother the nicest guy ever. I am so happy for you that he is so understanding and accepting of the situation. You are both very kind people your parents have to be so nice as well.
Hey Cody, I know this is one of your older videos, but it popped up into the feed so I watched it. Watching this video has sparked a question of my own. As a teacher, how can I best support students that are thinking about or in the process of transitioning? specifically FTM? I am a cis woman and I love all your videos. I learn so much from you and your journey. Lastly you inspire me to be the best ally! Thank you. :)

I love being able to hear your brother’s perspective on the intersection of the church and being trans. It is really inspiring and helpful to hear.
