Coming along nicely Luke.
look forward to the next episode. Enjoy your weekend.
cheers!
Thanks heaps for watching @Andrew Hewes doing this service was a lot of fun. And nice to show the process as we went.
We still have a long way to go working on this vs for future, but it's certainly come a long way since buying. I can't wait to share more soon. Cheers heaps mate👍🤝
Love watching this coming up a treat
Thanks heaps @The Gold Rush Guy I've loved sharing so far mate. And I must say it's lots easier to edit mechanic videos than detecting ones😅 Catch you on the next mate🤝👍
Great info Luke. Can see your mechanicing experience shining through here and filming it all may have been challenging at times.Well done.
If there's one thing I miss @DetectingOz it would be working on cars daily in a workshop mate. Unfortunately my bad back couldn't withstand it forever, but I still thoroughly enjoy any mechanic jobs I do. And especially this project car👌
I can't wait to share part 8 very soon to see what's next. Cheers heaps Gary🤝👍👍
Have a brilliant weekend u legend time to have a good catch up fir sure 👍
Thanks heaps @Diggersden Tezza U.K.M.D it's a bit hot here this weekend, up into the 40°c. So BBQ tea and drinks are on the go. Have a fantastic weekend to mate. Enjoy🤝😎🍻👍👍
Thanks for passing on your knowledge of cars. Always interesting to learn new skills. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
You are so welcome @joe kolenik these car videos have been great to share and even know its not detecting, it's still nice to be sharing tips and tricks to help others our there learn more. Or even complete these tasks themselves in future.
Sneak peak though, we will be back on that detector very soon and enjoying on film🙂🙂⛏️⛏️
Cheers heaps man🤝👍👍
Great videos Luke, absolutely loved watching them all, reminds me of my younger years servicing my own vehicles, your a joy to watch and to see the passion you have in everything you do, looking forward to seeing more. Thank you for the time and effort you put in to your videos.
I am so glad to hear you have been enjoying these mechanic videos @Poul Skovdam it's been alot of fun to share so far mate...and we are not done yet!! Still a few jobs left that I want to do before we will look at putting it back on the road for a drive👌 I can't wait😎👍
G'day Luke, I have the feeling that Pedders lost a top class mechanic and would have been sorry to see you go! And that you had a real passion for working on cars.and it seems you still have. I wonder how happy my car would have been if I was as enthusiastic an knowledgeable as you. Ive had a mouth full of fuel several times over the years, siphoning petrol, one suck to many! It might explain all the back firing I do. Now I'm feeling guilty about my car, Its been losing oil since I had its timing chain replaced, and Ive had a water leak since replacing my radiator, but have been to busy with other jobs to even think about checking it out. Plus I lent my ramps to my nephew a few months ago and they haven't been returned yet. I like a bit of elbow room when I'm under a car. Now I'm feeling extremely guilty about my neglect. You may have forced me into some much required action in that direction, Dang it! As if I haven't enough to do already. Ive yet to have my second cup of coffee! Cheers Mate, take care!
A second coffee sounds great @wayne armstrong it's been a long night!! The car certainly is coming along nicely mate. I had no doubt the oil, air and fuel would be putrid, judging by the state of the car when first buying. It's really getting a good birthday lately and loving it😁
All we have left to do now...is everything else😂 I look forward to sharing more again next week plus a nice surprise. Take care Wayne and try to stay cool this weekend to mate👍🤝⛏️
@@DigItDetecting I was out getting a job done, but it became a temporary fencing job, it just got to warm to keep going and do it properly, Ive had some lunch, and I'm about to have an early afternoon drink, definitely not coffee this time! I'm sitting in my old bus slash, home, it still gathers heat, but it's cooler than outside, there's a good breeze blowing through and all my windows are open, otherwise I'd just be a puddle, it's not stinking hot but it's hot enough! Take it easy Luke! Cheers!
Early afternoon drink sounds even better @wayne armstrong hopefully that breeze keeps coming in to mate and cools down a little more later before bedtime.
Take care and enjoy mate👍👍
Nice one Luke!
Thanks heaps @Paul Levy We are now one step closer to getting this old VS back on the road😁
That fuel filter is the dirtiest filter I have ever seen. I don't think it has been ever serviced! PS Great job Luke.
This poor old car sure has been lacking in the maintenance department @Roberto Giuseppe but it has a new lease on life now mate, especially with a freah service. I can't wait to share more next week. Cheers heaps mate🤝👍👍
You're a pretty amazing and knowledgeable mechanic Luke.
You do with one hand what I couldn't do with two. 😅
You should start up a separate TH-cam channel, specialising in car repairs and maintenance.
You would reach a whole new audience.
Post the videos to both channels. 👍🏻👌
Thanks so much @Chris Fleeser I don't know what it is about cars but they have always drawn my interest to fix and see how they tick. Ever since I was younger I would pull apart my toys and radios etc to do the same, see how they work. Not that they would always work when putting back together though😆 mum loved it im sure😂
I was thinking about a separate channel for my mechanics to mate. But also a lot more work. I am currently in the process of creating Young Dominic his own TH-cam channel to😊
i actually just bought a vs for 200 too haha.. wagon though. looking forward to your future vids as they will definitely help me
@apx how awesome is that man! I'm really glad you are enjoying! Plenty more to come👍👍
