More great tips, Luke. MAF specific cleaning product, huh, like you have to do a star jump into a backflip for the first hurdle, pulling things apart and successfully putting them back together again is far harder than it used to be. However if you're careful with what you're doing, or get it done by a specialist, it is possible to make things better than new, better than factory, better performance, better looks. Sherbrooke Green! The looks, and the lifestyle. Cheers from Gabi of Narre Warren.
Update: Forgot to mention Sherbrooke is a small village in the forest of the same name in the Dandenong Ranges, and has the "1000 Steps" Kokoda Memorial, if you and the family are in the area, it's physically not demanding, you did the Loch Ard anchor walk easily enough. On Sherbrooke, the choice of the name, I'm thinking Holden chose something that references Australia, ever heard of Quandong Pink? It's a native peach, very thin fruit over giant hard stone, very few EH panel vans, or anything, in that colour! Don't choose that, they dropped it in the sixties.

Thanks heaps @Gabi Valla I'm really glad you enjoyed watching this one mate. Next video we do show the specific maf sensor cleaner to use too. And it certainly helps👌
I never knew that about the colour Sherbrooke Green and the relevance, super interesting to know and that is definitely the colour we are going to respray for future. I will be checking out and walking that 1000 step kokoda memorial one day with the family too...and we film it for fun😉😁
Cheers heaps again for watching Gabi, I hope your having a fantastic weekend🙂👍⛏️

When you said that the tacho dont work, its most likely the small cog in the back. Its the easiest job and cheap also. Personally i like the green. As rebel from running on empty said “ greens nice “ 😂

I reckon you are spot on there @Mark Mcintosh the little cog is a common problem to throw the tachometer on the old Vr and vs commodores. Or it could be the trans speed sensor on the side of the gearbox, which I have a spare one available if need to change over in future.
"Green is nice"....especially the metallic Sherbrooke Green 💚 Cheers heaps mate🙂👍👍

Morning Luke! I thought you had already decided the colour was going to be the same and that you were keeping it, either I can see the future or your suffering old man forgetfulness, which you might have caught from me. I'm guessing you've done a few spray jobs in your time, which wouldn't surprise me, when it comes to cars I'd say there isn't much that you haven't done. Unusual to see you post at this time of the morning, or have I slept the week away and it's Friday evening again, that wouldn't surprise me either! Cheers Mate! Have a good weekend! Hooroo!

Good morning @wayne armstrong i had sort of decided on color but still itching to go black, so wasnt 100% sure but now definitely green again to make it easier.
I have done a full strip and respray to a vs Calais many many years ago. That was a bigger job being a Calais, but I learnt alot as I went. And enough to now complete this Vs executive with ease mate🙂 I just can't wait to see it all shiny and new👌
Thanks heaps for watching Wayne, have a fantastic Saturday mate🙂🙂🤝👍
