Honestly, it's really upsetting hearing about Demi's attitude over the past years. When I was younger, I heard about her story and struggle with eating disorders and then followed her throughout her struggle with her drug addiction. She became a huge idol for me, and I looked up to her a lot because I could relate. I still respect and commend her for her journey and look up to her for it, but it just feels like she consistently puts herself first and everyone around her second. Honestly, I just hope that if she isn't currently , she does get help for her mental health. She's come a long way, but she still has a long journey ahead of her. Edit: By saying she was my idol growing up, I'm saying that as a kid, I looked up to her. I'm grown now, and I see her mistakes. Clearly, my opinion and how I look at her is different now.
ive been both severely anorexic and way overweight. both EDs, for about 15y now, im in treatment fir 3 mental disorders (not severe but still) and im still not a complete douchebag to ppl and blaming it on that. she just has a horrendous attitude and massive ego, point blank. The Taylor Swift squad isn't really a thing anymore. Apparently, someone in the group was spilling private information about Taylor around, so she told each friend a different fake story and when one of the stories started spreading, she knew who it was. Then there was the whole Kanye, Kim, Taylor feud, and she basically hid from the public eye for a long time. Now the only person she really hangs out with from the squad is Selena, and she has posted things online with friends, like at her birthday party, but she isn't that public with them like she was with the squad, which I think is a good thing. I think very public Hollywood friendships don't really work well. Imagine every time you fought with a friend or became petty, it was shown to the world. Also, how can you ever know that someone actually wants to be your friend, and doesn't just want more publicity and fame. Anyways, the Demi and Taylor feud has been quiet for years, and we now know that Demi has gone through some terrible things due to the industry, and is getting past them, and Taylor has improved her friend circle. There's no reason the internet should keep this feud alive when they have clearly moved on.

I've always wanted to like Demi and I even was close to stanning her years and years ago, but then she started her one-sided feud with Taylor (and making comments about things that weren't really her problem) and I decided I was better off without that kind of negativity. And it's so annoying, because she's crazy talented and has amazing songs like Skyscraper, Cool For The Summer, My Love's Like a Star, Two Worlds Collide, Anyone 🥺 In my opinion, her problem with Taylor is not about feminism - it's because she doesn't like her and that's it. I didn't see her defending Taylor against those sexist comments: she was actually part of the narrative. She went and gave her support to Scooter after HE bought Taylor's catalogue without her knowledge and then she didn't say a thing when it was revealed Taylor never lied about the phone call with Kanye, because the real and full phone call was leaked. I think it all started because Selena became really close with Taylor and she was jealous - which isn't a bad thing, jealousy is a common feeling, you just shouldn't let it dominate you. - and that's why everything Taylor does is wrong in her eyes. The only thing I'll give Demi is that she was right about the a*s kissing in Taylor's "squad". Many of those "friends" didn't stand by Taylor back in 2016. Not even Karlie. Her real friends from that squad turned out to be Selena, obvi, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt. ☺️
To just point out something, all artists are writing about their own love lives, their girlfriends/boyfriends, their experiences as well. Especially the male ones. The media FOLLOWED Taylor around and took pictures of her and then proceeded to come up with this narrative about her that she’s a crazy serial dater girl after they pried into her life.

I'm glad this whole thing is from that looks of it over because it would just be rinse and repeat for years, Taylor doing something, that something would annoy Demi enough that should would go take her frustrations to the press or social media, Taylor would never respond and the cycle would just continue for years. "The squad" hasn't been a thing since late 2016, in the sense that they don't go to award shows together anymore and Taylor lives a very private life now but she's still either friends or on good terms with not all but most of them, so idk I just think the squad discourse was always rather overblown. Generally I'm glad this whole Demi & Taylor situation seems to be a thing of the past

Honestly, it's really upsetting hearing about Demi's attitude over the past years. When I was younger, I heard about her story and struggle with eating disorders and then followed her throughout her struggle with her drug addiction. She became a huge idol for me, and I looked up to her a lot because I could relate. I still respect and commend her for her journey and look up to her for it, but it just feels like she consistently puts herself first and everyone around her second. Honestly, I just hope that if she isn't currently , she does get help for her mental health. She's come a long way, but she still has a long journey ahead of her.
Edit: By saying she was my idol growing up, I'm saying that as a kid, I looked up to her. I'm grown now, and I see her mistakes. Clearly, my opinion and how I look at her is different now.

I am someone who likes Taylor Swift and I do think Demi gets mad for no reason I do believe she is jealous but Demi is famous herself don't hate other women instead keep doing what you're doing you the person in power so take hold of it. That being said I can see how sometimes Taylor's songs can hurt I get it relationships are complicated but idk if always writing or mostly writing about it is the best.
Every song writer writes about their life experiences including romance. I don't know why people are so stuck on that.

It’s funny how people complain about Taylor singing about her love life and break ups but seriously what artist hasn’t done that either? They all have. Everyone of them has done those types of songs or rap about it. The only difference is some of them will add curse words and others won’t depending on the genre.
Demi has a lot of things she needs to work on and better herself. As we all know she says things without thinking because she is mad and takes it back when she’s in a better mood. Taylor is someone who can take care of herself and not depend on anyone. She’s her on boss. Honestly I have more respect for Taylor and Selena. i genuinely feel like this was always a Demi sided beef, Taylor never had anything against her. but I’m really glad that after the Vmas of this year we could see that they’re finally good with eachother. I mean, Taylor knows all the lyrics to Demi’s songs and was spotted having a lot of fun dancing to her, and Demi saw it and started following her.

The Taylor Swift squad isn't really a thing anymore. Apparently, someone in the group was spilling private information about Taylor around, so she told each friend a different fake story and when one of the stories started spreading, she knew who it was. Then there was the whole Kanye, Kim, Taylor feud, and she basically hid from the public eye for a long time. Now the only person she really hangs out with from the squad is Selena, and she has posted things online with friends, like at her birthday party, but she isn't that public with them like she was with the squad, which I think is a good thing. I think very public Hollywood friendships don't really work well. Imagine every time you fought with a friend or became petty, it was shown to the world. Also, how can you ever know that someone actually wants to be your friend, and doesn't just want more publicity and fame. Anyways, the Demi and Taylor feud has been quiet for years, and we now know that Demi has gone through some terrible things due to the industry, and is getting past them, and Taylor has improved her friend circle. There's no reason the internet should keep this feud alive when they have clearly moved on.

I've always wanted to like Demi and I even was close to stanning her years and years ago, but then she started her one-sided feud with Taylor (and making comments about things that weren't really her problem) and I decided I was better off without that kind of negativity. And it's so annoying, because she's crazy talented and has amazing songs like Skyscraper, Cool For The Summer, My Love's Like a Star, Two Worlds Collide, Anyone 🥺
In my opinion, her problem with Taylor is not about feminism - it's because she doesn't like her and that's it. I didn't see her supporting Taylor back when Tay was fighting against that ridiculous lawsuit by that man who GROPED her. I didn't see her defending Taylor against those sexist comments: she was actually part of the narrative.
She went and gave her support to Scooter after HE bought Taylor's catalogue without her knowledge and then she didn't say a thing when it was revealed Taylor never lied about the phone call with Kanye, because the real and full phone call was leaked.
I think it all started because Selena became really close with Taylor and she was jealous - which isn't a bad thing, jealousy is a common feeling, you just shouldn't let it dominate you. - and that's why everything Taylor does is wrong in her eyes.
The only thing I'll give Demi is that she was right about the a*s kissing in Taylor's "squad". Many of those "friends" didn't stand by Taylor back in 2016. Not even Karlie.
Her real friends from that squad turned out to be Selena, obvi, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt. ☺️

To just point out something, all artists are writing about their own love lives, their girlfriends/boyfriends, their experiences as well. Especially the male ones. The media FOLLOWED Taylor around and took pictures of her and then proceeded to come up with this narrative about her that she’s a crazy serial dater girl after they pried into her life.

I'm glad this whole thing is from that looks of it over because it would just be rinse and repeat for years, Taylor doing something, that something would annoy Demi enough that should would go take her frustrations to the press or social media, Taylor would never respond and the cycle would just continue for years. "The squad" hasn't been a thing since late 2016, in the sense that they don't go to award shows together anymore and Taylor lives a very private life now but she's still either friends or on good terms with not all but most of them, so idk I just think the squad discourse was always rather overblown. Generally I'm glad this whole Demi & Taylor situation seems to be a thing of the past
