LOVE WTG!!! I just got their V44X Marine Reaper Bowie and it's also a Knaxe, and a Knachete, AND a Knword too lol! it's my 4th WTG knife and, it sure as he'll won't be my last!!! Great video Aaron!!!
I first bought the nomad field knife! Awesome knife! I just ordered the Nomad EDC knife stoked can't wait to get it! This Nomad full size knife will finish out my collection! Well, that Puzon Bowie too! Lol
I just purchased the new Nomad Bushcrafter from WTG, if you're interested in testing it I'd be willing to loan it to you for a while, just let me know.
SOOOOOO glad you said you like the nylon belt loop better. Please let them know we...or at least I do too. Not a fan of tech locks. I have not even carried my Mt. Bushman yet. I got it last month. I just don't want to put the tech loc on it. I'm making leather belt loops for both my Elbrus & Mt. Bushman real soon.
Work tuff gear is becoming a company one does not want to support. I have messaged them multiple times and they never reply. Makes you think how effective they will be to uphold their warranty. I tried to get a Puzon splatter edition. They were sold out in 5min and only 12 went on sale. Later all my complaints got Victor Lin’s attention. He told me that only 12 units from a previous batch went on sale and I must keep in mind the splatter edition is a limited edition. They are trying to get 300 units for October. The thing is I would like to have a puzon for a up and coming survival and bushcraft trip that would be main chopper. Now I will have to settle for a knife that I dont really want. Work tuff is playing a dangerous game of being exclusive. It will their downfall.
Thanks for giving the weight with the sheath! That's a stat lots of reviewers and knife shops leave out, but it's important cus I ain't carrying it around without the sheath!
Hey bro hope you are well and having a great Friday so far. Nearly the weekend yeah. Thought we would pop over again and see what you have been up to. Oh wow that's awesome but pretty damn scary bro. Really impressed. I must say I would have one. Thanks for sharing your experience with us really appreciate it bro stay safe and catch up again soon God bless you 🙏❤️👍
Well, for those of us who don't need such an awesome but huge knife, there is the Mt Laguna. It is THE best sub 5" knife you will find anywhere. Truly, if you spent $300 you wouldn't get a better knife. Work Tough Gear is doing amazing, groundbreaking things w their knives. Wingman115 n Vic Lin knocked it out of the ballpark w the Mt Laguna. Zeke made a 9" Beast. Work Tuff Gear is quite simply, making the best production knives today w the most FAIR n reasonable prices. Great review , ty for always being honest in your assessments. Be Blessed. Btw, this is the only really pricey knife I've seen from WTG.
Awesome chopper and a really good looking blade I love big beefy knives and I would pick this one up but the price slammed on the brakes and airbags deployed!!!!
I have had some interest in this knife, but was concerned about price vs performance. Thank you for presenting your opinion. It goes a long way with me.
Which would you choose, this or the Lanzeta? I alternate between a BK9 and a Condor Plan A Bowie. The Condor is so fasty and elegant, but it doesn't have the same heft/chopping ability as the BK9.
I've owned many esees including the izzy2, 3, 5, 6, LS, and Junglas... This knife is better than any esee.in fact, every WTG knife I've used is better than an esee, and most are the same price point.
I have the JX5 and tought the same! What about the tapering towards the tip? Is it too slim.... I couldn't catch it good on the video! Thanks in advance!
Great looking chopper, and we all know that, just like everything else, if it catches on, there'll be a knockoff lower quality available for less than half that before next year's out. Ain't free enterprise grand?
Your testing of knives is great. Got the Winkler belt knife, amazing thanks for reviewing it. Have you heard of DonnieB all day? He has designed a camp master knife. The price is reasonable and looks like a winner. He is on the tube?
Some of the quality coming out of Taiwan for the last few decades is on par with anything of me in Seki city Japan in my mind. And this is a small family owned company that is producing these blades. The quality control, fit and finish, and tensioner detail is amazing. Thank
Good review. Definitely not worth the asking price. You can get USA A2 and even 3V in that price point. Ironic that it is convex, when Z.Manacho once told me convex was the worst and cheapest way to make a knife. Haha flip flopped he did.
It took some convincing with him as I understand...as it did with me, but it's a great grind. WT really executes everything with excellence. I should also add that I think the sk85 is much better than 1095.
LOVE WTG!!! I just got their V44X Marine Reaper Bowie and it's also a Knaxe, and a Knachete, AND a Knword too lol! it's my 4th WTG knife and, it sure as he'll won't be my last!!! Great video Aaron!!!
Looks like a breaking point right above the handle
Get a svord von tempsky Bowie
I'm hoping to get my first worktuff knife soon. I REALLY like one particular blade, but it's tough to find. A grail knife. Cool video
looks like it could be inspired by the JessX
Why am I always broke??? I blame Aaron 🤣
As always great content brother!
What about WTG NOMAD vs. Tops El Chete ?
I just got mine and it’s hard to stop wanting to hold it and admire the grip and weight.
Where did you find it, if you don’t mind me asking? Can’t find one in stock anywhere
Nicely done
Is this knife still being produced? Can’t find one anywhere
Blessings. In your opinion how does this blade stack up against the Tops Yacare?
I'll take two!!!!
Very nice revieuw Arron again 👍👌⚠️
I first bought the nomad field knife! Awesome knife! I just ordered the Nomad EDC knife stoked can't wait to get it! This Nomad full size knife will finish out my collection! Well, that Puzon Bowie too! Lol
Similar to a Kershaw Outcast in D2.....JMO
Holy Shit That is a Knife, Aaron !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome content bro👌 stay safe
My gosh thats a great looking blade.
Got my Nomad few weeks back what a beast!!
Check out the Condor Plan A, I believe it would do just the same for around half the price
Agree - Condor Plan A looks awesome, dont own it but will soon.
I just purchased the new Nomad Bushcrafter from WTG, if you're interested in testing it I'd be willing to loan it to you for a while, just let me know.
Own it, love it, would buy it again. Sick design and Sooo cool to fondle, it is a beast!
Man, this knife is right out of Book of Eli 😎
How does it compare to the Terävä Skrama?
Goddamit that is an awesome blade. In the UK there is literally nowhere I would ever be able to carry it, but that's just us.
Worktuffgear.com check it out
Cool blade looks a pyrang.Great review
Very functional and looks cool. Looks like something a Predator or Klingon would love.
SOOOOOO glad you said you like the nylon belt loop better. Please let them know we...or at least I do too. Not a fan of tech locks. I have not even carried my Mt. Bushman yet. I got it last month. It's so hard to find its practically a legand... a myth...
This is my overall favorite knife I own.
What is a best decision - nomad or puzon? Thank you!
I personally think the sk85 is much better than 1095

Not A2 or 3V?
28oz of "beautiful".
"That's a knife"
How about the Tops SXB for a top quality USA made or Condor Pack Golok for a good budget chopper
That’s a remarkable Tool!! I absolutely luv it. It looks great and works just as good as it looks. What a great, great tool!!
Thanks for giving the weight with the sheath! That's a stat lots of reviewers and knife shops leave out, but it's important cus I ain't carrying it around without the sheath!
love the vids.. 👍 able to do the Gerber golok review? 👍👍👍

Could you show a comparison how this chops vs a large hatchet similar weight?
It would be cool if I participated in expeditions where I would need this knife.

This blade looks sick! I'd love to see this blade and a Tops El Chete face off! That would be Epic
Awesome chopper and a really good looking blade I love big beefy knives and I would pick this one up but the price slammed on the brakes and airbags deployed!!!!
I totally understand, from a price perspective
I want this machete
This thing is a beast. My biggest knife o won, and I do live it. Waiting for the next big thing from Dave Puzon and WTG.
I have had some interest in this knife, but was concerned about price vs performance. Thank you for presenting your opinion. It goes a long way with me.
*sigh* Same grievance I always have with Work Tuff. I LOVE the Nomad design. Want it in a stainless steel though.
Which would you choose, this or the Lanzeta? I alternate between a BK9 and a Condor Plan A Bowie. The Condor is so fasty and elegant, but it doesn't have the same heft/chopping ability as the BK9.
Cool looking knife, but I will take my ESEE 5 or Junglas at this price point
I've owned many esees including the izzy2, 3, 5, 6, LS, and Junglas...
This knife is better than any esee.in fact, every WTG knife I've used is better than an esee, and most are the same price point.
HOW WOULD YOU STACK THIS NOMAD AGAINST THE VENGEFUL I JX5 IN CPM3V?
Not sure, never used that one
I have the JX5 and tought the same!
What about the tapering towards the tip? Is it too slim.... I couldn't catch it good on the video!
Thanks in advance!
If I needed a big camp chopper, I'd be all over that. I like it. He does a great convex and they come screaming sharp. Thanks, Aaron.
Great review! The only issue I have with it is that exposed lanyard hole as well. The knife is amazing but I am gonna have to grind that off!
Did you look at the work tuff gear website recently? They fixed that problem on their new version
Great looking chopper, and we all know that, just like everything else, if it catches on, there'll be a knockoff lower quality available for less than half that before next year's out. Ain't free enterprise grand?
Awesome Blade. If that lanyard hole bothered me I would grind it off and drill a hole through the back of the handle
Had me drooling big time until you mentioned the price.
Nice review. I think my kabar kukri, 1249 model has similar performance for $54 on Amazon. 1995 steel.
Your testing of knives is great. Got the Winkler belt knife, amazing thanks for reviewing it. Have you heard of DonnieB all day? He has designed a camp master knife. The price is reasonable and looks like a winner. He is on the tube?
this is the kind of blade Jason would be happy to have
it's an ugly design but it's very functional. i'm super stoked about the smaller version though
There's a new one called twomad
Been waiting all morning for the upload. Where’s my popcorn?
Taiwan!? You just lost me!
Some of the quality coming out of Taiwan for the last few decades is on par with anything of me in Seki city Japan in my mind. And this is a small family owned company that is producing these blades. The quality control, fit and finish, and tensioner detail is amazing. Thank
Wait, made in Taiwan? Wtf? LOL
Yup. What about it?
