Looks absolutely beautiful … but Douglas’s “oh dear” at the finish line told a story all on its own. Thanks for another brilliant Scottish Parkruns video.
I’ve done the annual Pitlochry 10k before but never faskally parkrun. If any of the parkrun overlaps with the 10k route then I imagine it would be amazing.
It looks like the Pitlochry 10k goes through Faskally Forest between 2-3km. It gets very close to the parkrun route, but not quite on it. I’d definitely recommend giving the parkrun a go!

It’s a lovely course - looking forward to a return visit at some point!
Did this three days ago and loved it. Glad I watched this video first, it was tough tho!!😂
21:44 is amazing
Thanks Jimmy! Yeah it’s definitely up there as one of the toughest in Scotland.
Really enjoying these videos! Superb.
Thanks Robin 😊
That looks stunning! I think I'd love that even in minging weather. Such a beautiful part of Scotland ❤️
Yeah it was a fantastic location for sure! Challenging parkrun, but definitely worth it 😃
Hi Douglas, really enjoyed this parkrun, definitely on my to do list, looks beautiful there. 😊
Yeah it’s a great! Definitely one to have near the top of the todo list 😃
That was the first one I did when lockdown ended last year. Certainly one of the hardest and totally agree- trail shows essential if it's wet.
Starting back with a tough one - I like it!
Loved Faskally, just need to get Aviemore done to finish the 5k app line of Faskally, Aviemore and Torvean!
Aviemore is fantastic, one of my favourites for views I reckon 😄

Does anyone know if the proposed Parkrun in Holyrood Park is still on the cards?
Seen it discussed a few times this year but it’s all gone quiet.
Hi Steven - nothing official yet. I think it’s just working through the process, which always takes longer than you’d think.
@@Scottishparkruns thank you!
