sorry if this has already been done or even strange to ask but would like a q and a. who you are, job and what made you get into running? and who your friends are. loved seeing jen out with the pram in the other video. thats amazing! but keep up your good work. all super insightful. ive started fitness journey. walking everyday after having two kids, with the aim of moving to jogging. love to see these videos and not nervous about doing a parkrun once my fitness is better because of these videos. you make running look fun and taking part fun too. Ruth
Hi Ruth, thank you for the nice comment 😊 I’ve not done a Q&A before - it sounds like an interesting an idea for a video! I’ll have a think about it and add it to my list of video ideas. That’s great to hear you’ve started your own fitness journey - you get quite a few people taking part with buggies at parkrun, so you’d be in good company 😃 parkrun is very inclusive as well - you’ll get a wide range of folk from the speedy people up the front all the way to walkers. It’s quite common to see finish times ranging from 17 mins to over an hour. Which parkruns are local to you? All the best, Douglas.
@@Scottishparkruns perfect thanks!! yeah i guess that would be totally different than your previous videos. yeah totally. i liked what the guy said it’s not a race. i guess your competition is yourself! pollok i think is the closest. Glasgow anyway! whats yours?
Pollok is my closest as well! I used to go there pretty much every week until I got into touring back in 2018. Maybe not the easiest to do with a buggy though, as there’s a few hills 😆
Hi Douglas! Happy New Year. I've been waiting for this. Normally I follow you from Australia but I am in Glasgow now, long story, anyway I did Pollock ystdy. The weather may prevent me from travelling very far but will try to do a few local parkruns. Might see you at one. Cheers! Liz B👍🏃🏃
Great video as always, will need to try Erskine soon. There is a brand new park run next week 😝 Auldcathie District in Winchburgh 🥳 I can get an ‘A’ without travelling as far as Ayr. Will you be there?😛
Thanks Yasmin ☺️ I won’t be at Auldcathie next week as I already had plans, but hoping to get there later in the month. I suspect Alness might be a bit further, but I’d definitely recommend that if you want an ‘A’ 😄
Just found your channel - love your shots and how you explain the courses. Thank you!
Thanks Michael 😊
That drone footage is something else 🙌
Thank you 😊

Beautiful course, and well done Jen for the sub 18.
She’s pretty speedy!

What's up with the guy standing behind you at the start 😂
