Who else is here because watching someone else play this game for the 1st time is the closest you can get to reliving the experience of you playing it for the first time?
Um... yes. Without a doubt lol. It's how I found the channel. But also, Symbalily is a delight to watch, so I don't even find myself bored rewatching. Thanks for a good time, Symbalily!
I watch this because my switch controller doesn't work with my pc for this game. I cant refund the game and i cant play it, so i watch her do it instead.
Completely non-spoiler tip for spaceflight: in space you don’t slow down if you accelerate. There’s no drag or air resistance. When getting somewhere in space, half the time is spent accelerating and the other half is spent decelerating. If you watch how the autopilot gets you places it makes it easier to understand.
I can only imagine the massive amount of evil laughter that came from the viewers when you decided to enter Dark Bramble so early. That was such a perfect introduction to the anglerfish too. You didn't even see the light, just this massive creature with super sharp teeth and barely visible in the fog turning towards you out of nowhere.
Little quality of life tip that you may find useful; there's a setting in the options menu that allows you to pause time when reading dialogue and walls. Might be very handy to enable this since you read everything aloud and don't have the option to speed read stuff 👍
@@SymbaLilyno probs, I definitely think it'll help you feel less panicked as the game goes on... Great episode by the way! Enjoyed the sheer confusion the first few times you died 🤣
Note that this option is enabled by default for reading most things, just not for dialogue (since it causes character animation to freeze in a weird-looking way)
This setting is currently enabled for reading text (you can tell because the translator's scanney-things stop moving). Note, however, it does not always stop time for reasons I am sure Symbalily will discover in due time.
Yeah, this is already turned on for text walls and such (e.g. 1:31:40 the blue bars aren’t moving, so time is frozen). It’s only left off by default with NPC dialogue, up to you whether you want to change it!
At 51:30 there was an audio glitch where the timber hearth and museum music were playing over top of each other, never heard that before! Sounds really cool!

Always love to see an Outer Wilds playthrough. One of the best games I've ever played, and from a design standpoint the only reason I wouldn't class it as revolutionary for video games is because the lessons that can be taken from it would simply require too much skill from a developer standpoint to be widely applied across the medium. I still don't understand how on earth they managed it not once but twice with the DLC, which is in virtually all respects as good.
The fact that this game is near perfection and did not skyrocketed off every channel is beyond me. Of course it's my opinion still but this game even though it already got a lot of praise and awards deserves to be more known. Best game I've ever played hands down for me.

I am so excited for this series! As much as I've been loving watching your Hollow Knight playthrough, I already know I'm going to enjoy watching you play this game even more. This is one of my 2 favorite games of all time, and it's the only game that I never get tired of seeing people play for the first time. Despite the hints and advice I have been providing in the comments of the Hollow Knight videos, for obvious reasons, I will **NOT** be doing the same for this series. This is a game where even the most minor of hints can be spoilers that end up ruining part of the experience. It's for that same reason that I would strongly encourage you to avoid reading comments on these videos (at least until you've beaten the game). The highest voted comments are probably okay because the Outer Wilds community tends to be very good about spoilers, but anything that's not highly voted I would advise you to avoid. Just like with Hollow Knight, I find it very interesting how many tiny details you're already noticing with Outer Wilds. I can't talk about most of it for spoiler reasons, but one non-spoiler example of what I'm talking about: despite the fact that I've beaten the game 3 times myself and watched a lot of other people play the game as well, and I literally never noticed that Gossan is missing one of their eyes until you pointed it out. That could explain why they seem to be one of the only people on Timber Hearth who seems at all worried about safety.
Just Gossan's personality. Minor Spoilers Tektite (near DB seed, Youngbark Crater, lost their foot to GM) and they are pretty lax about safety. Big Spoiler You can learn who was responsible for Gossan's eye being lost.
Out of curiosity, what is your other favorite game? Because this is my favorite, but Dreamfall Chapters and What Remains of Edith Finch come close seconds. And recently Stray has inched closer to third place, same with Call of the Sea (I think it's obvious choosing is not my thing).

This is still my favorite of the OW playthroughs - She doesn't only enjoy the mysteries, but shows a level of empathy for the Nomai that i feel is lost among most of the "gamers" out there, to make this story more impactful.
I am so excited for this series. This is my favourite game ever and whilst this is the first video of yours I've watched, I'm really liking your vibe! I keep checking your channel hoping the next one will be out haha. Stay curious and you'll have a blast!
I cannot wait for more of this! Outer Wilds is one of my favorite games, and I am so excited to watch you figure it out. No spoilers, obviously, but there's a quality of life tip I haven't seen mentioned in the comments. In your ship's log, you can press a button to mark an entry. When you do, the location of it gets marked on your map and screen, much like your ship is. You'd actually done it for the Eye Locator on their moon, but it didn't seem like you'd noticed. Makes navigating back someplace much easier.
This is my first video watching you, I did so as I love the game and seeing your title I was hoping you would as well. and after seeing your video I must say I really enjoy watching you play, the excitement and wonder that you express is just wonderful to see, so keep it up and don't get dishearten if you feel it's tough at times, the game is sooo rewarding to continue playing! I aim to continue watching you move through the game!
38:14 i am sure this is about the devs talking to players regarding the DLC they made for this game. I really recomend buying it. Its worth as much as the base game!
Ah yes, that "dead in the tutorial" moment... A classic! Joke aside, TH-cam suggested this video to me and I couldn't resist. Outer Wilds is such a memorable game and I love to watch people discovering games a bit after everyone else, just to remember how great the game was, and what path other players take. You'll love this one, it's a GOTY for me (and its DLC is... so perfect!).
Thanks to the almighty algorithm for sending you my way. I love this game, and I might actually like its DLC even more! I hope you have an amazing journey. I like your mostly chill energy. Subscribing!
I've just gotten started, and you are immediately so much more observant than anyone I've ever seen play this game (including myself). This is going to be a joy.
I just finished the game and it is insane, so I thought I wanna see it from the prospective of someone who never played it before so I searched it. Your channel popped up and I immediately love the way you search and look at every small thing around you haha I know I have a new favourite gaming channel, you are a gem! Enjoy the game and keep it going I promise you will love it!
This seems like it's going to be a great playthrough! You seem VERY observant (like picking up that the thing around Giant's Deep isn't broken in the picture!) so this is going to be an amazing game for you. As others have said, spoilers are the WORST for this game, so please take your own time and struggle as much as you need to! Some will inevitably find it frustrating, but it's an essential part of Outer Wilds.
This was great to watch! You're in for a treat, it's such a special game. I can't think of any other game that has so many 'Eureka!' moments as you unwrap the mystery. And then after that you have the DLC which is somehow equally awesome. I relied heavily on the Lock On / Match Velocity thing to get around so I didn't go off in all directions!
This game is truly special. I can only give you one advice without spoiling anything - remember to use your equipment! The Scout Launcher is your best friend!
aaaaah i am so excited for your playthrough!! outer wilds is my favorite game of all time and i'm sure you are going to love it!!!! also, as someone who is addicted to watching people play outer wilds for the first time so i can relive that experience over and over, you are doing super well with piloting the ship and moving around in zero-G and all that! most people don't even pay attention that the controls are all listed on the corner of the screen lmao 🤣 so don't beat yourself up about it ok? you're doing amazing! i hope you have a lot of fun flying around and discovering things hehehe 🥰 space can be really scary but it'll be so satisfying once you start to conquer it. thank you so much for everyone who requested the game and thank you amber for deciding to play it 😔 i can't wait for the next part!!

Just starting the video, you not knowing anything about the game makes it infinitely more interesting for everyone, you included. I'm eager to watch you on this journey.
I’m just straight up rewatching this whole series, because it’s FAB. It’s also crazy to see things you pick up in your first runs (ohh they look like fireworks!) yet never get to see the supernova 🙂
Just found this channel, this playthrough looks really promising. I can't remember the last time I watched a whole 2 hour video in one go and I still felt like I could have kept watching even more. I'm excited for the rest.
NO SPOILERS EVERYBODY! I love this game so much, and it's great seeing the way you approach it. I'm stunned by how much you did in your first four loops! You're also going through it in such a smart and insightful way, really trying to learn; most playthroughs I watch of this take a while to get into that mindset. I really look forward to seeing you continue this series, Outer Wilds is one of my favorite games ever made and watching someone play it for the first time is better than trying to play it yourself a second time.
Alright so I love that you are starting!! This game is amazing I AM SO EXCITED! This will be an amazing playthrough, although for me with my ADHD (before my diagnosis) it was quite messy and overwhelming at first. Don't forget to check your logbook, it will safe your life. If anyone dares to spoiler them I will have to go on a multidimensionaö murder spree!
What IEMs do you use? Good luck in your playthrough. Watching you go through everything is wonderful. Thanks for letting us relive this game vicariously through you.
Ok I'm subscribing! I love me some Outer Wilds and it was really fun watching you try to figure things out. You're cute and I love your accent. My favorite part of the video was when you realized you should shoot your scout into the seed. I can't wait for your next upload!
Gotta say, of the many playthroughs I've seen of this game, you've managed to get the hang of piloting and landing the ship faster than just about everyone, even using the autopilot in efficient ways. Nicely done!
This will by such a good series. I love watching you playing this game and discovering things without knowing anything. It’s the one time experience and you will never experience it the same way again, because you cannot forget things you have already learned. Watching someone else playing is the closest you can get to your first playthrough. So I’m looking forward to see your discoveries.
You're in for a treat. As everyone else is saying, DON'T GET SPOILED. This game is all about mystery and discovery, which means getting spoiled actually interferes with the core gameplay loop (in ways most other games don't have to worry about). Hopefully the comments are good about keeping anything remotely spoilery away, or at least very clearly tagged... It's absolutely beautiful in its design, its gameplay, its story, and its thematic messaging. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this game as much as I did! Don't be afraid to play it however you want--that's part of the fun!
You are in for such a treat! I'm surprised you mastered the controls so quickly and even made your way to Dark Bramble. Took me ages to get good enough to do that!

I'm proud of you for all that you've done. Enjoy the holidays and take care of yourself! Hope to see you back with videos soon but always do what's best for you
This is definitely one of the best more recent games to come out. I almost couldn't stop playing it, start to end, when I bought it.
This is still my favorite of the OW playthroughs - She doesn't only enjoy the mysteries, but shows a level of empathy for the Nomai that i feel is lost among most of the "gamers" out there, to make this story more impactful.
I have to say your reading voice is just amazing. I love this game so much, excited to see you discover it!
Hearthians talking with English accent add completely new flavour to the start of this game
Amber moving every direction except for forward when trying to go forward is the funniest sht
Reliving this experience through someone else's eyes fills my soul with the wonder and warmth I felt the first time I played.
I'm suuuuper excited for the next episode of this series and you doing Pantheons in the Hollow Knight series!
Fantastic ep, this is gonna be such a fun series!
Judging by the playlist, you not only seem to have completed the game, but you are actually taking your time. You are a very good “let’s player”.
god i would give anything to play this game for the first time again
Just found your channel, Outerwilds, Hollowknight, and Ori I can’t wait to watch your reactions to some of my favorite games
I've done this for other let's plays as a fun thing, hope your community enjoys it as well.

Oh cool, first time catching someone start this so recently.
Yeah you're in for a good time with this.
I keep scrolling down and wanting to like the video, but I've already liked it. Can't double-like!
So many revelations and smart moments.
I love how you died the exact same way I did right at the start lol
Woohoo! Third outer wilds playthrough series I've seen begins. I wish you well Amber!
I literally gasped when I saw you decided to play this! So excited, it’s probably one of my favorite games ever.
(Avoid spoilers at all cost)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh so excited to see this. I’m doing a second play of the game now and it’s so good. I hope you love it.
I kinda just binged through your hollow knight playthrough and now you're doing my other big indie fav. THIS IS EVERYTHING I NEED IN MY LIFE
I'm at 11:09, and I can already tell this is going to be an amazing playthrough! This is one of my favorite games of all time. Happy travels!
I started playing this game and honestly got to scared to continue. The dark openess of space really freaked me out and one of the places you can go scared me even more. So Im gonna finish the game through you! Thanks!!!
YES. I WAS HOPING YOU WOULD PLAY THIS. I suggested this a few times in the past.
the "coming soon" part of the museum is for the DLC :)
I really look forward to seeing you continue this series, Outer Wilds is one of my favorite games ever made and watching someone play it for the first time is better than trying to play it yourself a second time.
non-spoiler mechanical note: you can refill your suit's fuel in your ship. Looking forward to this run,, you've got great intuition so far!
Woot woot! Outer Wilds! I’m so excited to watch!!!!
Alright so I love that you are starting!! This game is amazing
I AM SO EXCITED!
This will be an amazing playthrough, although for me with my ADHD (before my diagnosis) it was quite messy and overwhelming at first. Don't forget to check your logbook, it will safe your life.
If anyone dares to spoiler them I will have to go on a multidimensionaö murder spree!
One of the best games of all time! I'm sure you'll enjoy the heck out of it, and we as well, watching you experience it for the first time
What IEMs do you use? Good luck in your playthrough. Watching you go through everything is wonderful. Thanks for letting us relive this game vicariously through you.
Little over 3 min in and I can already tell your perceptive and curious. Perfect for this
Ok I'm subscribing! I love me some Outer Wilds and it was really fun watching you try to figure things out. You're cute and I love your accent. My favorite part of the video was when you realized you should shoot your scout into the seed. I can't wait for your next upload!
I love the increased uploads! Enjoy outer wilds and be careful of spoilers!! This game is best experienced fully blind.
Omg best day of the year!! Clicked immediately, can't wait to see you play this Masterpiece! 😁
Gotta say, of the many playthroughs I've seen of this game, you've managed to get the hang of piloting and landing the ship faster than just about everyone, even using the autopilot in efficient ways. Nicely done!
👀 A gamer doing an Outer Wilds play-through! Let’s go! My favorite game fr! I’m subbing so I can watch your journey! I hope you love it! ❤
Never seen your channel before, but I love Outer Wilds so much and I'm really enjoying your playthrough so please make moooorrre!
You are in for such a treat! I'm surprised you mastered the controls so quickly and even made your way to Dark Bramble. Took me ages to get good enough to do that!
Yes!!! I have been hoping for so long that you'd check this game out! Truly excited to watch you explore this universe
I am beyond excited for this! One of my fav games ever
