    after three or four years of trying, sending a new version of my game every year (Toziuha Night) I finally appeared in a godot showcase, that made me very happy, thank you Godot Engine :3 And the other games are looking better and better, I have put several on wishlist! I'm very happy to appear in the video and be part of the Godot engine community.

      @@saveborg1091They just take time to learn. DAWs aren’t the hardest part of composition.
      That said, I’d like to know what power composer is. There doesn’t seem to be anything about it on TH-cam.

    • @michaelflaherty9354
      @michaelflaherty9354 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @@saveborg1091 The capabilities of Power Composer are much less than that of a full DAW but it uses the lack of features to streamline the workflow for MIDI editing (meaning drawing notes on a grid instead of working with audio files.) The simplified interface and included instruments will hopefully make the program overall approachable for musicians of any skill level.

      Really need some good built in way to handle IK, it's such a basic and expected functionality in most 3D game now a days to make things like slopes or stairs look more natural in 3rd person. But your only choice with Godot is "write it yourself".

      @@Geskawary234 you don't need Unreal like lighting to make a great looking game.
      its all about aesthetics and less about tech.
      looks at all the current AAA games with super realistic visuals but shallow and boring gameplay.
      I would buy a fun game with visuals from the 90's rather then boring game with next gen visuals.

    • @ThotTee
      @ThotTee 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Geskawary234i think it isn't sucks, just godot doesn't give a complete lighting system as default like unreal does, but with work you can make lighting similar to unreal engine. Except ss reflection, because that is really sucks from godot3, but it will remade in godot4 maybe soon.

      Unity has showreels every year since like forever. Unreal uploaded a student showreel three months ago. You don't have to compare with other engines. Can't we just celebrate what people have made instead of trying to one up this or that engine? Just make games. That's all it should be about

    • @ultimaxkom8728
      @ultimaxkom8728 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      True. 101%. You can't be expressive and have fun if you use Unity or Unreal or any non-FOSS engines. Why? Management and investors, ofc.

    • @Beryesa.
      @Beryesa. 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@ultimaxkom8728 Well you _can_ have fun and be creative _while_ making it, but you *don't* get to have a say on _wether you can keep it_ in the end. Or even before finishing it, ToS and EULAs can kick you overnight, you have almost no power except basic customer rights. I don't think you'll have much fun then.
      That's the "can still be fun *without corporate bs* " part I'm talking about.

    OMG I so so much needed something like Block Coding, that was in part reason I was trying some simpler game engines before going all out on Godot, this is fantastic

    I never tried 3D games before downloading godot last week, and it was always my first and only engine of choice the moment I heard about it. Great engine

    Godot is by far the best game engine I've ever worked with. It's easy and flexible and kinda just fun to make stuff with. I'm so happy to see wider adoption and im hyped for all the new updates!

    Haré la misma pregunta que le hice al canal de Blender: que es lo que no puede hacer con Godot?. Solo miren todas estas obra de arte que fueron creadas con este maravilloso programa. Aunque no soy desarrollador de videojuegos (antes si queria serlo, pero cambie de planes) gracias a todo el equipo de Godot Engine por abrir miles de puertas a muchos desarrolladores que buscan alternativas al software privativo y de codigo cerrado. Gracias por existir Godot Engine.
