Ethers looks like a much needed improvement, the typescript support is a major plus. I’ll likely go with it.

I think that like firebase is not for all kind of projects, Moralis may not be for every type of web3 project either.

@@chrisbaileymoralisweb3399That's true. But since it only runs by a few private companies. What if they decide to shut it down? Woundn't that cripple the whole network since no one else runs it because it is just too big.
@@feiwhang It's an interesting debate, but one which can't really be condensed into a YT comment. The TLDR is: any person can run a node. But to run a fully syncd index of the entire blockchain may be prohibitive for many regular users unless they want to spend months building it.
