    Ethers looks like a much needed improvement, the typescript support is a major plus. I’ll likely go with it.

    What if you want to launch a token with your Dapp? Does Moralis have features for this as well?

      @@chrisbaileymoralisweb3399 hahaha maybe a youtube #shorts could be worthy.
      I think that like firebase is not for all kind of projects, Moralis may not be for every type of web3 project either.

    10:15 Then what's the point of crypto. It's not decentralized anymore cause you have to go through so many layers of centralized company.

      Processing blockchain data doesn't change the state on the blockchain.

    • @feiwhang
      @feiwhang 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chrisbaileymoralisweb3399That's true. But since it only runs by a few private companies. What if they decide to shut it down? Woundn't that cripple the whole network since no one else runs it because it is just too big.

      @chrisbaileymoralisweb3399 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@feiwhang It's an interesting debate, but one which can't really be condensed into a YT comment. The TLDR is: any person can run a node. But to run a fully syncd index of the entire blockchain may be prohibitive for many regular users unless they want to spend months building it.

      @@chrisbaileymoralisweb3399 Thank you for the reply. I really like the idea of decentralization but I think we're still far from ideal.

      it's a sales pitch for moralis, that's why so much emphasis on how hard it is to build a backend
