You put Burks and Bojan on the court with Brunson and there won't be any defenses collapsing on him when drives to the basket because both Burks and Bojan will hit the 3's consistently - from a Piston's fan who is happy to see both go to a playoff team.
This is exactly what this team needed right now. The Lakers game last Saturday really exposed an issue we've had for a while now: lack of bench scoring. Now it'll be a huge mistake to double Brunson (and especially Randle when he gets back) because you have so many shooters now. When taking into account shooting splits, ppg and usage, Bojan has been basically the same player for most of his career, regardless of the team he's on. Probably the most consistent role player in the league in that regard. He just does his thing unbothered and gets out of the way of teams' stars. A perfect fit for a team with a clear game plan since his contribution is easily predicted and quantifiable. Yeah, TV talking heads are entertainers not fans nor experts.

This would’ve been a good trade if Jrue was still on the team and this was done maybe two years ago. You really think Doc will play Dame and Pat at the same time? Dame is 6’2 and Pat is 6’1. No. And Dame is a poor defender while Pat is a poor offensive player, so it doesn’t balance out when they’re both on the floor because they’re both short and play the same position. Bucks trading for Beverley smells like the stink from GM Doc. We know Doc is even worse as a GM than as a head coach which is saying a lot because he’s the GOAT coach for historic playoff losses. Who will the Bucks get next? Austin Rivers? Then Doc will hand him a $35M contract when Austin only deserves a G League salary.

They aren’t title contenders but they are that scary team that nobody wants to face because they have enough to knock off a title contender or maybe even two but in the current NBA, you need a top 5 player leading you to truly be a contender. Just look at the team that won in recent years. Jokic, Steph, Giannis, Bron, Kawhi, Durant and Steph twice, Bron, Steph. It goes back until 2014 with the Spurs where we don’t see an active top 5 player at the time lead a team to a championship. And that team had the greatest coach ever, the greatest and most selfless team game ever with one of the deepest and best defensive teams in history. And you did have 4 first ballot hall of famers on that team. One of them young and not grown to be a star yet and the others were past their primes. And their rotation was insane. You need a perfect team top to bottom with the greatest coach ever to win it all in the modern NBA and even that championship is more than a decade old now. Brunson is good but he ain’t on that level.

I actually thought the Knicks could make a the Eastern Conference Finals before this trade deadline. Now I really believe they have an even better opportunity to make the Eastern Conference Finals and be very competitive when getting there. Brunson has proven himself to be a great go to player and closer for this team since last year and had the media questioning the Mavs on letting him walk in free agency. The only thing holding this team back from reaching it's full potential is injury/health and that's with any Tom Thibbs teams. This Knicks team is something serious.

Top 3 in the East is shaping up to be Celtics, Cavaliers, and then Knicks while Bucks and Sixers are fading fast. I’m not sure Patrick Beverley will help the Bucks by this point but at least he’s worked with Doc before. Pat is turning 36 this year. He’s a bit washed and a lot of his defense comes from fouling and then talking smack.

You really think Doc will play Dame and Pat at the same time? Dame is 6’2 and Pat is 6’1. No. And Dame is a poor defender while Pat is a poor offensive player, so it doesn’t balance out when they’re both on the floor because they’re both short and play the same position.
Bucks trading for Beverley smells like the stink from GM Doc. We know Doc is even worse as a GM than as a head coach which is saying a lot because he’s the GOAT coach for historic playoff losses. Who will the Bucks get next? Austin Rivers? Then Doc will hand him a $35M contract when Austin only deserves a G League salary.

They aren’t title contenders but they are that scary team that nobody wants to face because they have enough to knock off a title contender or maybe even two but in the current NBA, you need a top 5 player leading you to truly be a contender. Just look at the team that won in recent years. Jokic, Steph, Giannis, Bron, Kawhi, Durant and Steph twice, Bron, Steph. It goes back until 2014 with the Spurs where we don’t see an active top 5 player at the time lead a team to a championship. And that team had the greatest coach ever, the greatest and most selfless team game ever with one of the deepest and best defensive teams in history. And you did have 4 first ballot hall of famers on that team. One of them young and not grown to be a star yet and the others were past their primes. And their rotation was insane. You need a perfect team top to bottom with the greatest coach ever to win it all in the modern NBA and even that championship is more than a decade old now. Brunson is good but he ain’t on that level.
