This Briolette is so pretty!! Sorry about the nib not being 100% :( You could check through the magnifier feature on your phone to see if the tines are misaligned before trying to smooth it out just incase it is a nib issue that needs to be sent back :) Yay on the free ink!!!!

I don't think there's anything really wrong with your Talisman, it just needed the nib unit snugged up a little. BENU sells nib units separately and I screw in different nib units all the time. I hope the nib in your Briolette is writing more to your liking. If not, I think Atlas or BENU will replace it.

Thank you for the confirmation!! Yeah, after releasing this video, I inked up the briolette again, with Diamine Jack Frost, and it has no issues flowing! The nib unit actually untwisted on this model as well, so I think it may be something I’m doing when I’m installing the converter that is twisting it loose. I tightened it up and it’s all good. 😊

I’ve only been able to finish the kon-peki fill from this video, and I’ve just inked it up with Diamine Jack Frost. It seems to do pretty well with wet inks! Not as bad as what I had in this video at all. No hard starts.
