I'm so pleased to see you out on your adventures again, hope your keeping well, thanks for taking us along with you it looked magical I cant wait to get back out in the water I. Just not brave enough yet haha 😅😂😂
Rachel that was fabulous! What a super swim spot. Thank you Miranda and Karen for sharing it with Rachel and us! I so enjoyed watching it. You are so lucky to have that on your doorstep! Do you know roughly what the temperature was? My guess it was pretty chilly being fast flowing water? It looks like you back is much better Rachel! I'm so happy you are back enjoying the water again.
Funnily enough a couple of weeks after this I caught flu and it took a dog's age to get over! It wasn't on my doorstep, I drove east for a couple of hours to meet them x
Its dropped quite a bit over the last few weeks and there's no swoosh there anymore. However, the greenery is very lush and there's birdsong all around. A completely different vibe but still wonderful. I hope there will be enough water to swim in it by my birthday at the end of the month.
What a fantastic and very inviting colour. Watching your video made me smile because the fun of swooshing in that clear and presumably very cold water came straight across. Is the ground chalky, I wonder? Because that would explain the colour so unusual in the surroundings. There are similar little streams near where I live but the colour is always brownish from the surrounding moors.
Amazing water quality. Wow ❤ on one of your videos you once recommended like a core warmerthat you put on easily after a swim. I mentioned it to my wife and she wants to follow it up but can't find one online. Can you enlighten me please Thanks.
Hi Mike, thanks for watching. The two products it may have been are both from Wild Moose: the hottum ( a hot water bottle in a fluffy belt wild-moose.co.uk/products/hottum the koji, a tube-like vest to block draughts and keep your midriff warm wild-moose.co.uk/collections/kojis They'r both brilliant!
The internet can be a troublesome place, but with that said, this video is a testament to all the amazing opportunities the internet provides for like-minded people to connect. I love the fun and the friendship, and of course, the colour of the water. Would you call it aquamarine? That’s what it looks like to me, but then again, I’m no jeweller or gemstone specialist. I’m just wondering if y’all felt like you were 16 once again during your amazing swim adventure? Thanks for sharing the fun times. PS - I loved the cute little bottles of milk that you had with your tea… I’ve never seen anything so cute!! Ⓜary💦
Hi that water looks so clean it can only be polluted. It looks to me like Derbyshire lime making . You should test the ph it could be very caustic. Use litmus paper
I had flu at the start of Feb and have taken a dog’s age to recover. However I did shoot some footage at the weekend which may make a vid! Thanks for your thoughts x
The colour really is Alpine like you say !! That looked so refreshing , how lovely of the ladies to share with you
lovely spot and lovely friendship - makes me a bit envious, but so happy seeing the joy! happy swimming!

That must have left you buzzing! A terrific spot.

Hope it hangs on for you, although, does that mean more rain?
The colour of the water is amazing.
Wow! What a special place, looked like lots of fun!! When the sea calms down you must come to beautiful Southbourne for a dip!!!!
I’m in. When it calms down!
Yay!
I like your mini adventures! Must be the minerals which give the water that gorgeous colour! Fun!
The colour was amazing, even on a cloudy day. I've only ever seen similar in mountainous areas.
What a beautiful swim spot, and such fun you all had, made me smile, thank you x
Glad you enjoyed it! We had a peachy time!

Yes, it is a chalk stream and the ones around here look clear as a bell too. They are very cold though!
Wow.... Well done ladies..... 🤩.... Looks like a beautiful Aqua Marine Gem....... 🎉🎉🎉
It was a cracker!
What an amazing place! Looks so much fun too👍
I loved watching this video. If you ever visit mid wales and know of any good spots I’d love to go too 😊
I made a video about a one-day Welsh road trip, and one about swimming in Lady Falls in the Bannau Brecheiniog x

I went sea swimming Saturday & Sunday. The coldest I’ve ever been in 4.1c. Only stayed in 3 minutes 🥶
Wowee, that’s chilly!
That looks like fun! Wondering how far it is from me in east Sussex 😋 x
Sadly it’s not my secret location to share. Maps at the ready!
@@EverydayAthleteRach Oh I completely understand 💙🥰 x

Wow ! What a great place to dip/swim ! Rachel, how cold was the water ? 🩷🥶💦💙🧊🏊♀️
Not that cold in fact, it was about 8°C I think, which surprised me!
@@EverydayAthleteRach Yeah , looked colder. Love your videos ! ♥️
OMG that looks like great craic!
Your grins are infectious!
We were having a whale of a time. I didn’t want to get out!

Hi Mary I'd say it was aquamarine and I felt like a kid at a playground!
Hi that water looks so clean it can only be polluted. It looks to me like Derbyshire lime making . You should test the ph it could be very caustic. Use litmus paper
It is a chalk stream in the South Downs. The water quality is the same in chalk streams in Hampshire too 😀🏊♀️
Wow! Oh I wish this was not a secret, I'd like to go
It’s a lovely little spot.
Oh wow where is this! I need to go
It's not my spot so I can't give it away.
Hmmm... Must say, all the Wheeeeee-ing and Whoooooo-ping does feel a teeny bit like protesting too much... /-:
I can see how that might be what it sounded like, but it was genuinely like being a kid in a playground! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
@Everyday -- if you come out to PNW, Vancouver BC -- drop me a line - I ocean swim almost daily, throughout the year. Can guarantee, you will love it.
Wooo! I’d love that!
Can you share what county? Just for interest? 😊
West Sussex
So beautiful and unspoilt....fun fun fun 🥰
Are you ok? You’ve gone quiet.
I was thinking the same! Hope things are ok Rachel ❤
