Hello , I’ve been struggling a lot with Google Merchant Center set up and I hired an agency even that couldn’t help me out. I hired freelance and that was a terrible experience. I could really use some help in my small business. Where should I go and who should I reach out to? 🥺
Even if i'm a beginner, If i provide screenshots of my desired outcome to avoid misunderstandings (designed on canva), have backup store themes to protect my code, and agree to a price upfront, will i be fine?? Also thanks for the vid, this was the only one i could find and it was gas
This works great and I love clients who provide detailed design and agree on price and time first. Doing Shopify development for almost 4 years, on Upwork and Fiverr.
How can I add king, queen, full, twin mattresses to a page. I also migrate my inventory and also auto update inventory levels. From supplier. I need help
I spent a year developing a very personalized project Shopify from the grounds up with a developer in the US. We started at $25 and later, after like completing 70% of the project, he's increased it to $45 -after discount-. Although that was a steep increase but I didn't object because I was already in too deep with him and he understands the project really well and he's actually good at it. A few days back, he said that he's now working full-time with an agency and cannot take part time jobs -at least not in the near future-. Now, I feel like I'm stranded. Even if I find someone with a similar skill set they'll need at least a week to wrap their head around the project and of course no one will spend a week for free. I'm totally confused and overwhelmed, what can I do?
1. A year is a very long time for a single project. You need to break projects down into smaller parts that can get completed. Even if it is a big project, it's bad to leave things unfinished. It's partly your responsibility to manage the project tasks and avoid this situation. 2. $25 per hour is very low for a developer from the US. So that's a red flag for me right away. You need to take a step back and reconsider the project itself. Is your site live? What are the priorities? What's essential and what's just nice to have?
@@EdCodes Hi Ed, Appreciate your input. Surely, it was distributed over several milestones and we have successfully launched an MVP. I may have laid it wrong when I said 70% of the project when I should've said of where I want to take it. My concern is finding a replacement that'll be able to continue where we left off.
A totally custom theme from scratch? I don't do that. And I don't think it's needed for most stores. Usually you would start from an existing theme and make changes where needed.
@@EdCodes thats totally fine i would need a theme that has a intro video with a button (ENTER) and when the video stops playing have them land in the store. And a way to add a GLB file as a logo and maybe under the header aswell and a way to add a background image/video and just a clean site overall how much would you charge for that?

How much do you charge to create a fully customizable shopify theme?
