If only a company would make a bandsaw that you don't have to take the table off in order to adjust the lower guides. Why do tool companies do this? Do they really expect you to be able to access the guides from below? I have this bandsaw, and while cool, you can't get to the lower bearing knob without taking the table off. Just why? It almost seems like the people designing these tools don't actually use them. While this one is better than some, it just seems like a missed opportunity from Harvey to solve a longstanding problem. Great video, as always!

Thanks, Alex. I just got mine a few days ago. I found the rear obstructed screw on the lower bearing assembly to be a huge pain. What happens when you change blade sizes and you have to move it? I found I had to tighten the front screw I could access, then detension the blade to push it and the thrust bearing shaft out of the way to tighten the rear screw. Then I could finally remount and tension the blade and make the other bearing adjustments. There must be an easier way!
Alex God bless you I love your work and enjoy your channel.. but I don't care for Harvey's business model with daily price changes and astronomical shipping fees. $499 shipping to the east coast for a bandsaw is absolutely ludicrous!
Follow up question. After fine tuning it all and once you remove the blade to install the table, do you just have to re tension the blade or do you have to re tension and re track the blade?
Should just have to retention the blade and you’ll be good to go
I just purchased this Harvey saw, but only see 133 inch blades on Carter. Right now I'm using the stock blade, but did you have to special order the 132 inch blade recommended for this Harvey from Carter?
