Non-paid review. Purchased to use on a daily basis while working in the summer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxLaBdDhW8qNMDGbjLY54iyU3q9BJydYRP blowing into safety glasses so they don't fog up. Comfortable wearing around the neck. Not heavy at all nor does it slide around much. Easy to turn on and off. It's a solid construction with a slight flex in the middle. Doesn't feel cheap although the body is made of plastic. The battery currently runs over 8 hours on the low fan setting and takes USB C plugs to charge. Noise level is fairly mild and wind strength is good even in low setting. Only down side is if you wear contacts, it'll dry out your eyes since it's blowing up into your face. I flipped the vents down but this doesn't help de-fog safety goggles when I'm sweating. Definitely worth it over other fan types.

I have the older version of the #1 fan, which I have plugged into a USB port inside my garage permanently to dry my boots. I wear LE boots all day and during summer it gets sweaty so I use them to dry inside of it. I also have mid-ride motorcycle boots I use that fan to dry them inside also!
Just bought #1 in thailand from the floating market for 5.5€
3 speeds, adjustable via swan style fan mounting. The fans can be directed very freely and i feel like the unimpeded airflow compared to the the fixed ones just cools way more.
Sure it looks dorky, but even the "good looking" ones look odd, might as well go for more performance

Fan number two was the one I saw on Amazon. But I learned my lesson about buying night vision goggles from a toy company and how they don’t work. So I watched your video hoping and crossing my fingers number two works and is the best one. So thank you so much for making this video and I will buy it and give you a like.
Night vision and a cheap 15$ fan are two completely different things sir
My first was much like the first you reviewed except for the lights. Pro plenty of wind. Con slips around and some positions don't stay.
#2 is like the 2nd I bought. Blows on my neck only, can be noisy. Thinking about bigger motors and a power pack for it. Also slips a lot.
Is the first quite or does it make a lot of noise?

All neck fans pretty much last 1.5 to 2 hrs except the super high priced ones

The first is the one I mentioned and ambit I love that I can position it to stand up very flexible

The first one can be used not just as a neck fan but also desk, car , kitchen table i own one and its better then carryin the big fan everywhere around the House when the A c isn't on
Thorough review. I'm curious how fan 2 would compare to Arctic Air in your opinion as they look similar and are the same price but Arctic Air is trash in my opinion
I am in Clearwater/Dunedin and I am breaking down and getting one of these. After your review and reading the comments, I am going with choice #1. Also I saw that you can set on a table or desk and direct some much needed air on you while out for a meal or working outside at the patio table. I'll update these comments with my experience. The covering on most models to protect hair seems to be a major setback for air flow. I bet #1 does push the most air but my hair is long enough to catch even in a high ponytail so it would be a pain in the ass. I'm probably still going to buy it lol

I have neckfan #1, and its really a problem everytime my hair accidentally falls into fan.....gets hung up and shuts it off, plus my hair is tangled.
I'm gonna buy one for work and make sure my hair is in a slicked back bun. I feel your pain, my hair is like 30" so even a ponytail can get tangled lol
My wife had 2 that were similar to #2 and while she really liked them, in both cases they stopped working (wouldnt charge) after only 2 months. Trying to find her one that will last.
My O2Cool from Walmart lasted 3 months. Good thing I didn't pay for it lol
I'm wondering if the #2 blowing both up and down made a big difference, or if I should focus on chilling plates as the better version, or? Thanks!

Does number 2 have 5000 mah battery.
I always just carry around a spray bottle filled with ice water when it’s hot hot out. Like when I lay out / go to the beach and want to be able to actually lay there and get a tan.. I’ll just spray myself down when I get hot.. wait for that to evaporate and spray myself again. Been doing that for YEARS! But then I saw these neck fans and saw some people who really liked them.. and my boyfriend works outside all day and ALWAYS complains about how miserably hot it is in the summer so I ordered one for him. Figured even if it ITSELF doesn’t do the whole job OUTSIDE where it’s REALLY HOT… I’ll just take a note from those water bottles with the fans attached (the ones the have at like Disney and other theme parks) and give him both to take! When wind hits cold water it automatically cools you down so.. fan should be here tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes!!
But even the I’ve will melt fast when it’s hot out, right?

The problem I've found is that all these neck fans are one-size-fits-all. The ones I've tried are too small and tight. I have a very big neck. Anyone find a neck fan for big necks?
I work as a cashier and it cant be too loud cause i need to listen to my customers 😫 which one would u suggest?

What's the battery life .
I work outside driving a terminal truck in Mississippi. It's getting into the upper 90s already. I don't care how it looks or the color. I just want it to be comfortable, cool my face off, and be durable. I have a USB port in the truck so charging it wouldn't be a huge issue. Any suggestions on one would be nice.

This baby boomer has been looking for a neck fan for a while. I have had personal fans since the 1960s, before they had air-conditioning in our cars.😮💨 Therefore I knew what I wanted.
I finally picked DARTWOOD'S PORTABLE NECK FAN. It sold in a three fan package which I'm giving as Christmas gifts. It is .62 lb, white color which will be easy on the skin during the hot summer months, and it has this LED light which blinks while charging then it goes put when fully charged.
It has 4000 mAh battery capacity, and charging time is around 4 hour with a 4 to 16 hour running time. No, I don't work for or the owner of the company.
I'm just a thrilled grandparent that my Christmas shopping is DONE! 🫡
