Sublime y fantastica prestacion lindo Guitarrista divina y magica su maravillosa musica . Placer y magia escuchar tan linda interpretacion . Thank you much🌹💖🍀🎶🌹💖🍀🎶🎸🌟👍
These young people are playing incredibly difficult pieces with maddening ease. Thought it might be fun to play the Night in Tunisia piece after hearing Jack play it. Haha! When I found the score, my right hand looked at my left hand and said wtf?!
yay Omni .. thanks folks for the years of incredible guitarists... ummmm... would you please look around over your way... I'm pretty sure I left my heart around there somewhere...¿ por favor? desde la Sierra Estrella de Arizona mi casa es su casa
All 4 are challenging the best today. I liked Emilia and Eric's feeling and the phrasing they displayed. Jack and Elle's duo was a great ending of this concert.
Hello I must say very good, I'm a bit from a different story, but in a similar style. Love People! It is with you, it is with me. I like it! And most important thing. We have Passion, which some will not take from us! Greetings from South Korea. You will come to me when you have time for a good rest and fun. Peace 🇰🇷 👣 and cheers
Thank God these kids are making a statement for their age group that classical music is the core of all music on Earth. Mozart probably would have run around circles among today’s artists. For sure as a child but double sure in his teens and twenties. 👏👏👏👏
Between new age guitarists like Marcin and Misko who use percussion on acoustic guitars that are amplified this young guitarist proves he is not only in their category but as a classical guitarist he beats both of them. His sister is impressive as well and they are an incredible duet combo. When they played JONGO by Paulo Bellinati as a duet I was mesmerized because as a solo that piece takes tremendous technique. I suggest watching Paulo play JONGO then watch the Davissons. I’m sure you can find JONGO on TH-cam.
Although the 19th-c. Italian luthier Johann George Stauffer was the first builder to experiment with the raised fingerboard (and also the straight 6 Fender head design), Thomas Humphrey popularized it on his millennium guitars and the concept caught on with other luthiers since. It allows for greater ease to play in the higher registers of the fingerboard.
Myriad of thoughts are being processed as they hear, execute, evaluate and modify on the spot. They are executing these notes after having practiced hours and hours, repeating thousand times in order to reach their level of perfection ….yet they have to maintain spontaneity and must not sound mechanical! When classical musicians perform, their brain is at the highest functioning level. If they smiled….either they are losing focus or they are faking it. I presume you are not a classical musician 😆
@@julikim2125 Thank you for your answer and for defending the kids Juli... :) You're right, i'm no classical musician... Although i enjoy listening to classical music, i like smiling too much so i stuck to jazz which is good enough for my low level hardly functioning brain... :) We can't all be geniuses... ;)
@@stickysat hahaha! I didn’t mean to be that way. I understand your sentiment. You are a good sport! I know that you wish to see that the music making is a pure joy!! That would help us enjoy it even more!😌 Classical music making is most often too work intensive and daunting. These young players DO display passion and love for music. You can see in their playing. They are just very serious about it 😅😅😅
@@julikim2125 No worries at all Juli :) It's true that, childhood being such a fugitive thing, i tend to regard anything demanding enough to prevent kids from smiling with a bit of circonspection... ;) But i totally see your point and am in awe at these young wonders, wishing only the best for them... :) Have a great life full of love and happiness :)
Great virtuosity among these players,I'm constantly baffled as to why todays students are taught a lot of repertoire that is not beautiful like the eras of Bach,Satie,Tarrega,etc...I think modern contemporary composers are a lost Art as far as actually writing beautiful music,it's very sad,but these players are amazing nevertheless 🙏
Fantastic players. And I noticed almost if not all of them use guitars with the raised neck. I think, aesthetically, it's kind of ugly. At the risk of a slightly different sound I'd opt for a cutaway to allow for the finger access the raised one gives.
Beautiful music. And please, JUST the music, no sermons. I have my own religious beliefs and civic values as do you Mr. Urias. These young musicians sound like a meritocracy to me.
A night in Tunisia was simply beautiful
Great generation of young players!

so wow pro
Everyone played really well. I especially enjoyed the musicality of Eric Wang’s performance of Aquarelle.
REALLY very good
virtuosi
They're all brilliant! Can anyone explain the 'raised fingerboard' thing most of the instruments have?

Who chose the music program?
Thanks for watching! The performers each chose the pieces they wanted to play.

I was wondering what the benefit of that feature was. You've answered my question.
Cutaway guitars have less bass and more treble depeding on your style it's not as picking cherries vs blackberries
@@woomi177 yes, canonically but I'll bet they can be subtly engineered to be equivalent. Just an opinion.
