- Hi, in this video I fish with a friend targeting bass and pollock at Mullion Cove in Cornwall. We have a slow start but get onto a few fish in the end. In this video there is a great example of why you should have more than one means of navigation. The wind changes earlier than forecast and brings in thick fog bringing visibility down to under 100 meters. I always have my phone with the boating app and a fish finder/map to make sure I know which way to go. #uklurefishing #kayakfishinguk #hobiecompassuk #pollockfishing #fishingcornwall #mullionfishing
Did a little session here myself yesterday, bit windy but still nice. Didn't have my fish finder so just some trawling, but there's some good pollock down there!
Nice little session do you have any videos from around the coverack area by any chance?
Looked lovely out there till the fog came in! Some nice fish too👏🎣
Looked like a good session, good call returning home as the fog rolled in.
Thanks for watching. Thats the first time in 3 years ive had fog roll in like that and it was a little disconcerting.
@@kayak_fishing_Cornwall Up here in NE Scotland we regularly get a Haar that rolls in thick and fast. Can reach inland a few miles too. Nasty stuff out on any boat let alone my kayak.
Don’t worry just seen you have some video from around coverack will have a ganders at them cheers 😊
Hi, thanks for watching. The coverack video has poor sound and is early this year. I will do more from there soon and the fishing should have improved a bit now the waters warming up.
Thanks Owen for this nice video

Hi Phil, yeah the drag up is a good workout but i dont mind. The helford passage drag is another level! Im out as often as i can phil, would be good to catch up.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video with us, brilliant little spot there. May I ask what app were you using on your phone, I believe it was showing the shape of the seabed? All the best
Hi, thanks for watching. I use the app by Navionics called "Boating". It has amazing shading and detail that really helps you target the fish youre after.
Looks like you had a great time, I’ll have to try it out for myself.
Thanks for watching and the comment, yeah its a lovely sheltered spot.
Looks like a great day to me mate 👍 👌
Thanks keiran, yes it was good fun and such a lovely morning before the fog!
