In 2015 it sold but they will not release the $$$ price paid. It was listed for $18 million prior to 2015. In 2014 listed $18 million then it was removed the listing was removed. Then in 2015 related @ $18 million. Now it sold but we don’t know how much I suspect someone bought it and now is losing money on it or they got it for 1/2 of the asking price $18 which would be only $8 million. Then when the housing market just went up & houses doubled they are suddenly asking $14. Million. So they will make money off of some rich person who would have to clean it up. This is a huge mansion. The square footage is the key feature along with the security gate entrance having a security house at the gate. But this mansion is very old and though it’s nice it’s in bad shape needs to be re modeled badly , it’s not up to par with the way houses mansions are being built today. And the location is key It was built in 2006. So after seeing the mansions in Florida Texas and across the world the way they are building them today this looks old. Out dated. It’s in bad shape. If you look closely it’s got major wear and tear. It would take a lot of money to re do this entire property. The roof has to replaced. I would do a grey or black roof. Because of the way these red roofs show dirt and the stuff airplanes flying over leaves on roofs with black dust on them. I think this seller got it for a bargain and now wants to rip another buyer off. I think the seller bought it for around $7 m to $8 million & now what’s out when the housing doubled over night !!! Look back at the taxes actually being paid from 2002 to the date it was built 2006. I have a home in Tennessee look at this home 13,000 sq feet but look at how up to date it is. 201 Crown Jewel Ln, La Follette, TN 37766. Then here is another home 2407 Hidden River Ln, Franklin, TN 37069 but this home was just built for $10 million. But asking $15 million. But look at the difference. It’s up to date with new style and it’s $5 million over what they built it for and the location is one of the most expensive areas in TN besides Nashville. Brentwood is a very private area gated access only. These people will have to clean up this LA mansion if they think they are going to get $14 million. No way unless they are hoping to find a rich wealthy person who can afford to drop $14 million and then spend another $10-$20 million redoing it to make it look like this Florida mansion at this address. This company bought a house that looked just like this $14m home and when you click on this address they turned it into a $31 million master piece. But it’s on the water in ft. Lauderdale. This mansion got a re model inside and outside 10 bedrooms 14 bathrooms -2626 Delmar Pl, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 and if this seller wants to make $14 million off this LA property he will have to hire a company to do what they did in Ft. Lauderdale to that 2626 Delmar mansion. That’s how you take a mansion and. Clean it up by stripping it down and re doing the entire home from the inside / outside. Complete over haul. No one will pay $14 million for this home in its location unless they are just desperate to have this property the acres it has & the square footage. This was someone’s dream home mansion. You can take $14 million and build your own brand new paradise with the same amenities and the same sq footage !!!
Look at 2626 Delmar Pl Ft Lauderdale they bought this home and re did it for inside outside and now asking $31 million. This property owner did this home will gave to do a major renovation before someone will drop $14 million on this. It died gave 25,000 sq feet. That’s huge. It has a guest home and security entrance with gated security house at the gate. This home here needs a re model inside or out. Because it’s outdated 2006 it probably cost them $5 million to build this and it’s never been upgraded. So they are better in g on someone who has money to drop and waste that is looking for a house this size. But you could always buy land and for $14 million I could build a property that would make this look like an old folks retirement home.

$5 m maybe $7. But $14 m no way they are trying to make $10 m off a rich person who wants a mansion with security. And the da footage is great but still $14 m no way. Only a rich person who can afford to waste money would even consider buying this outdated home it’s very outdated. It would take $10 million to get it up to par with today’s mansion building.

Baton Rouge LA. GARDERE OAK HILLS AREA. There are only a few homes that cost $1 million in this area. 12.5 acres but they won’t get $14 million. They bought it 2015 but won’t disclose what they paid for it. It was built in 2006. This person knows the housing market just doubled. Do they are counting on someone who has wealth to waste because this home will need a major RENOVATION a complete strip down inside out. It s old outdated and you can see the wear and tear the roof will gave to be replaced. I don’t know why people go with these red tile roofs they don’t stay clean. Go grey or black tiles. Personally I would never have this type of roof. Should have just a concrete roof that can be used for since it solar panels. Imagine a concrete roof with bar full kitchen seating area on 1/2 & Solar panels on the other half. So you could sell energy back to the city and make done cash off this property. Today homes of this size are being built with eco friendly energy. And these roofs are a thing of the past. The homes they are building today no one is using these tiles. If they do they are going black and dark grey. Because of the dirt that lands on this red tile it’s horrible looking. Outdated. I am keeping my eye out for the buyer and what they pay for it and then what they do to it. I would not give them $5 million for it. I would take $14 million and build my own paradise. This person who first built it in 2006 sold it in 2015 they won’t release the selling sold price because they are trying to make double what they paid for it in 2015. Because it’s old it’s a 2006 built home out dated no work has been done to bring it up to date. People are wanting a new home. Any body in their right mind would not fork over $14 million unless they had money to waste and look at stars around them. All homes less than $1 m. I only found one joke that was worth $1 million.
Is this still on the market if not it sure be nice if you could find me something just like it. Or a ranch style. Ill be in N.O thursday to buy a house and two condos if yall have anyone that i should meet.
