- macmost.com/e-3021 When printing from some apps it can appear that there is no way to scale the content of a document while printing. But different apps put scaling options in different places. Even when there are no scaling options, you can use other tricks to print at different sizes.

Speaking of scales; on a scale from 1 to 10 macmost is a 10. Great tips today! Thanks.
Genius! Great in-depth explanation showing various print options for different use cases. Cannot get better. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
Printing to an envelope and getting it right under 50 tries should be an Olympic event.
😂
Seriously??? It’s a basic thing to do.
I understand how to do it, it’s the printer that has trouble. 😃
Thank you that solved my print issue 🙂
Using the Open in Preview workaround was the best solution ever for custom printing my Excel. Thanks!!!!
A very useful and informative video tutorial today! Thank you, Gary! 👏🏻❤️
Thanks for the information and the tutorial today. This is some very helpful information that I will be able to use. Thanks again Gary!

now i'm looking for the triangle, which of course isn't there either. i got to preview and when i try to increase the size it just shows a blank page.
now i went to File and was able to see scale but if i try to print the address from TextEdit scale is no longer there and i also am no longer able to select print only 1 page.
I have another question. is there an option in pages or preview to print documents as booklet. Like Adobe Acrobat.
How about printing a booklet? I just now have a pdf with 27 pages, that would be fine as a little book!
Thank you. How can we tile a big document, say A1, to print on 4 sheets of A3 ??? Please
Depends on the app. Generically, you can just adjust the scale until the previews show what you want. But practically it will depend on the app and what you are printing (an image? a newsletter? a spreadsheet? etc...)
Thank you very much. I follow your tutorials for many years.
I type Pashto language which is typed from right to left just like Arabic Language. I have a question about paragraph alignment.
You see, in Ms Word we have the options to justify text from low to high and in Adobe InDesign as well we have the option to justify text from short to long but in Pages we have only one option and that is only to justify it. Of course we have the option to decrease character spacing but I don't get what I want by this too. What I want is this; When I justify text or paragraph in Pages it stretches the characters, while in word or indesign after applying text justification, it only increase or decrease spaces between characters. My question is that is there any way that I can justify text or paragraph to get the same results as word or indesign.
Thank you for your help I will really appreciate it.
Its annoying safari can't seem to scale content like other browsers. Is there any way to do it?
Blimey ! I’m sure Steve Jobs would have simplified all of this if we had not lost him prematurely.
hi You didn't cover printing an image on multiple pages both horizontally and diagonally. The demo only showed going smaller to 50%. But what I'm looking for is to print an image so that is prints on 15 pages.
You mean "tiling" I think. That's a feature that needs to be offered in the app you are printing from. It has to break the document up into pages.
In excel for Mac, how can I print one sheet in landscape and another sheet in portrait in the same print job? I had this preset in my old Mac but my new one doesn't do it. Sheet 2 defaults to sheet 1...
Not sure if you can. Just print one and then the other.
hello guys! I have a question about imsg, I'm kinda new to Mac and im struggling to find how to take a picture from iMessage from my MacBook.
So you just want to take a picture of yourself with your MacBook's camera and send it using the Messages app? There's no function for that in the Messages app, but you can use the Photo Booth app on your MacBook to take a quick picture, select it, Copy, then paste it into the text of a message in the Messages app.
@@macmost oh ok! thank u so much
Thanks bunches. When I click the link to your videos from my email. I do not seem to be taken to TH-cam. I don't know how to like or comment as the teaching video seems to be on your webpage....
Do you mean the special daily emails I send out? I just switched those over to going to the video at my site instead of here on TH-cam. You can comment there even easier than you can here (no login required).
no, the word scaling does not appear anywhere. i'm simply trying to print a label with large letters. thank you anyway for your videos.
