- Dr manning and Dr Choi get an emergency call from a previous patient who has a friend who's is about to give birth in a homeless camp.
Season 3 Episode 12 "Born This Way"
Dr. Manning and Dr. Choi travel to a homeless camp to deliver the baby of one of the teenage residents who refuses to deliver at a hospital. Meanwhile, Dr. Halstead and April are dealt an uncomfortable situation when they discover that their patient is a pedophile. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bekkar’s personal and professional relationships clash while treating a patient with a chronic disease.

My mums waters broke 5 days before she gave birth to my sister she had to get induced after 3 because the cervix never started dilating after her waters broke and she risked infection xx

smol bean uwu well I understand you want it free, but then hospitals don’t make money anymore. So you need to find that system where you pay each month. Like in Europe. It’s cheap and easy to do. In the netherlands its called a Verzekering

This is so heart breaking. So many people live on the streets. Life is SO SO difficult. We are so lucky.
My wifey weighs 40kilograms ringing wet, my son was born, 8p 14oz.
Loz was pushing for over 20 minutes with all the new yuppie nurses in a madhouse wondering what to do. Baths, gas, needles and just about every massage technique they teach didn’t do a thing.
We were very fortunate to have a mature aged nurse on that evening, with the life experience we needed.
Literally just walked in the room, picked up a blade and went ushka.
Watching the young nurses see it for the first time was incredible, I know it’s a show, but we experienced the real life, no nonsense get him out now!

@@Tyler_Mills26, I don't live in the USA so I'm not familiar with the laws and procedures but they did talk about what would happen in the clip. She'd end up in foster care, maybe with a good family but as they said they don't want to risk ending up in a house where they only see you as a source of money and not as someone to take care of.
In an earlier episode they tried that with the blonde girl, but there was no housing available and her cps-worker was totally incompetend (didn't know her name, planned to put her back with her mother and the abusive boyfriend). April let her escape and convinced Dr. Choi to help her on the street. The episode is also on this channel in case you want to watch it. Its title is something like 'cockroach causes seizures'.
So no the government, at least when it comes to cps, hasn't got even remotely enough in place to help and lots of foster homes are very abusive themselves. Especially those, that take kids nobody else wants.
@@buecherdrache1 yeah I've seen that episode I didn't know a cps worker would have to be involved like here in the UK you can get all sorts of benefits like housing benefits and child tax credit so I would have assumed there'd have been something in place xxx
