- We are off to Colorado to do our annual skiing trip. This year is our first time with a baby so it will definitely be an interesting trip. Come along and see what it’s like traveling with the Bates to CO!

Ryker is growing so fast. I think the easiest time for raising children is when they sleep all night until they begin to crawl. They stay where you put them. When they begin to crawl, put on your running shoes until they are 18! Enjoy every moment because they grow so fast. ❤

We vaca in Breckenridge a lot but keystone is fun too.
What i have learned from flying is to put an identifiable ribbon on your bags so they are quick and easy to find when they come off the conveyor belt

as an avid traveler, I might suggest that you find some bright yarn and tie it on all your bags it makes them so easy to find at pickup.

Trace get Lydia the 4 runner. I got the 4runner sr5 & it has 4wd & a v6 engine. Not nearly the gas hog of the limited or the TRD models! And properly maintained Toyotas last so much longer!

Looked like a relatively easy trip up!! Hope yall had an amazing time! The second door in the master shower is so you can go straight into the closet to put on clothes instead of getting out of the shower and walking around all over to get dressed.... it is a fancy thing to have 😅 ❤❤❤❤

Hope y’all had a great time in Colorado. Btw, renting your “dream” car is a great way to test drive it and really see and feel if that is the car for you and your family. I did that once and sooo glad that I did because it turned out that the car I really thought I wanted was not good. Maybe you could rent some other ones for a long weekend and test them out before you have a car/ SUV that you really dislike. 💕💕💕

Getting to airports early is a good thing. Denver TSA lines are usually long. With everyone you have to board and all the baggage, it’s good to have extra time ❤

You need to visit Durango CO in summer and take the train to Silverton. We also have a nice ski resort.
Looks like you have been having a good time this week. Smart thinking on your Mam’s part to get the grocery order in ahead of time. And all our luggage has came from auctions, I would love to get a new big hard sided set but they get so beat up flying my couple dollar auction ones work fine.

My brother and sister and my Dad live in Colorado Springs. We drove from Rhode Island to there non-stop. I stayed awake the whole way.
