Evan you are right!! It is not selfish. Parents need time alone to refresh and to bond together without children also very beneficial for your children to have time alone with other family members. It is so important for parents to take time away from their children. It helps us be better parents. You all look really relaxed and I feel like that’s very positive. It’s cool that Travis and Katie are coming to hang out with you guys. And how cool is it that you got to be on a cruise with all of your friends? I love how they prayed for the driver.

You should say that to my sister in law she definitely needs time away she’s obsessed with her kids she sends pictures of them 24/7 to my sister and my mom and post them on Facebook and they are like what do we say to that we see them almost every day and she’s like look how cute they are they’re so pretty I get doting on your kids it’s fine but she’s next level and it’s getting worse the older she gets and only cares about herself and the kids and it’s ridiculous she 100% needs time away from her kids and they need time away from her she’s driving them crazy they climb all over her and is different when she’s around when she’s gone they’re fine they play and stuff once she comes in they act like they haven’t seen her for days it’s only been a couple of hours and would hide behind her like we’re strangers it’s ridiculous and needs to stop and she needs help big time
Yes they do because day to day it’s about the kids. Good for all to get time off.

@@sharonmartin1223 , I agree!! I'm a paraplegic and a stay at home mom/ Grandma. My husband works 8 hr.s and sometimes, but rarely works overtime. He doesnt make a lot. We've only been on 3 trips in the 39 yr.s that we've been together but our kids and a nephew and 1 of the kids friends were with us too.

My husband and I are going on a cruise in a few weeks with our ministry...... group of people from all over the world are going.....probably 100 of us or so will be going. Im nervous because this will be the first trip since my husband has had his DBS leads put in (Deep Brain Stimulators) he's got Parkinson's.
Not our first cruise tho it's probably our 20th... ...the trans Atlantic was my most favorite cruise and my favorite cruise line is Celebrity cruise line. We're much older......your family would love the Disney cruise with all the littles you have.😊
Oh and we will be celebrating our 44th anniversary on this cruise...got a Jr. Suite 😊

So glad you had the opportunity to experience cruising. It is a fantastic vacation and, in fact, my husband and I are leaving on Monday for a five day cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. This will be our 26th cruise and counting. The editing of this vlog was so good.

Love you guys ❤ but as a parent of a child with an eating disorder our medical team told us not to talk about dieting and being over weight or losing weight all the time instead talk about eating healthy and all food is good food in moderation

It can start from a young age and it’s a horrible illness

My parents have been on three cruises in the last two years. They’ve gotten Covid every time

Maybe mention that’s an upgraded room that costs much more than a regular room they definitely don’t all look like that but cruise ships have definitely changed throughout the years the cabins on the older ships are extremely small…the best part about cruises is the 24/7 unlimited food and all the food is amazing! They used to have midnight buffets with every food you could possibly think of with big beautiful ice sculptures

I’m so glad you guys got a wonderful adult only vacation! I think as a homeowner and in the south /east coast…. Please , please please , spread around everywhere SNAKE-A-WAY!!! It’s copperhead season !!!!!!! Baby coooer head snakes cannot control their venom Wr had a friend who didn’t know they moved into a neighborhood deemed “snake alley “ and their stunning home was just that stunning, with a gorgeous backyard and riddled with copperhead snakes everywhere baby venomous can’t control their venom snakes . They 21 month old was playing in the yard and Got bit by a baby copper head , he was admitted in ICU placed on a ventilator and almost died…
Along with , brown recluse spiders are everywhere!!!!! When I was 16 I was bit by one! They are NO joke!!!!! They are called “recluse” for a reason . Second deadliest spider to a black widow .
I laugh and roll my eyes with ppl who leave their shoes on their garage ….. = aka, brown recluse /heaven are a great pair a shoes to “hide inside “. I’m not trying to scare you to pieces! But as I’m very old and lived in 3 states on the east coast . These are very important things to know . And yea, snakes can go up walls/and brick too. People thick they cannot get into a second floor/attic. I went to key west and bahamas in 2009. Left out of galveston, texas. Had a blast. I love to cruise. Been on 4 cruises on carnaval cruise line.
