In the heavily fought compact SUV class, the Haval Jolion is a solid vehicle that advances a convincing value case. It's also a vehicle with one of the most inconvenient acronyms in the industry.
Someone at Haval's Baoding headquarters in China came up with the term L.E.M.O.N. for their new cutting-edge vehicle platform. Lemon is a worldwide high-intelligence modular technology platform with high performance, safety, and lightweight technology, according to GWM.
This might be a mistake in the Chinese-to-English translation, or it could be a clever PR stunt to get some tongue-in-cheek attention. A 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 110kW and 210Nm drives the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. A re-engineered engine mated with a new transmission produces the same power and torque as the outgoing Haval H2.
Hamilton White, Mars Red, Energy Green, Ayers Grey, Blue Sapphire, and Golden Black are the six colors offered. All colors, with the exception of our test car's Hamilton White, come with a $450 extra. The Jolion Ultra creates a nice first impression from the outside. Although the front grille seems a little cheese-grater-like, the design is sleek, stylish, and tiny.
Although the Jolion five-door has the same 2700mm wheelbase as the Mazda CX-5, it is 77mm longer, 46mm wider, and 34mm higher than the CX-30. All of this adds up to increased internal space. The Jolion Ultra has 18-inch alloy wheels and tyres, a panoramic sunroof with soft cover, sharp-looking LED headlights, fog lights, and DRLs, and a 360-degree camera for improved maneuverability.
From the soft etched leatherette covering the lower dashboard to the knurled chrome transmission dial plainly influenced by Jaguar and Land Rover's rotary gearbox selector, the materials all ooze great quality. A large 12.5-inch touchscreen dominates an otherwise minimalist cockpit, and the absence of switchgear is noticeable at first look - particularly if the driver before you had the radio on full blast.
The driver's seat of the Jolion Ultra is electrically adjustable and made of imitation leather. Both front seats feature heating, but you'll have to seek for it in the infotainment system - hint: go under vehicle settings instead of the climate-control option.
The driver's seatbase is flat, there's no tilt adjustment to alter the seat's pitch, and the electric motor whines when you lower the seat. The seatback is well-bolstered, however there is a lack of support in the midsection.
The leather-rimmed steering wheel has chrome accents and looks beautiful, but it feels thin and weak in the hand. It's also not adjustable for reach. In a cabin with such a polished air, the indicators' harsh clacking noise while running is unsettling.
Because of the Jolion's lengthy wheelbase, the rear seats provide plenty of legroom and headroom. The seat base is at a nice angle, although a little short, which might make prolonged flights difficult.
Both rear seats have map pockets, and the fold-down middle armrest has bottle storage and cupholders. Back here, there are two USB-A ports, air vents to help with ventilation, grab-handles, and lighting.
Two ISOFIX points and three top-tether points are located in the outside rear seats. With the rear seats in position, the boot expands to 430L, and 1133L when the 60/40 split is completely folded - albeit they don't fold down deep enough to create a level loadspace. A rigid cargo blind serves as a parcel shelf in the boot, and a space-saving spare tyre is hidden under the floor.
The car's key, interestingly, includes a boot button... That does nothing. If this wasn't the top-of-the-line Jolion, the button would lead us to believe there was a higher-end model with an electric bot. Perhaps there is somewhere else, but not here.

Ultra is the top of the range then lux and the last is premium. This car is the ultra version.

Лизинговый "голубой" имеется у меня в компании. Комплектация "Премиум". Брался в 2021 году за 1.950 рублей. На данный момент будет 20 тысяч пробега. И очередное ТО. На нулевом ТО слили 0w20 "Кастрол" и залили "5w30 Profix SP for Turbo". Фильтра всегда не оригинал (кроме воздушного). Так как пилили масляный после 3000 км и охренели от "качества" изготовления оригинала... Сливную шайбу можно не менять каждое ТО. Она очень крепкая и замен 10 минимум точно выдержит. Робота только шить. С ним ездить и делать обгоны на трассе невозможно. К 12 тысячам он только более менее стал как то "переключать". Расход из-за робота большой,так как часто держит передачу на больших оборотах,а затем только переключает. После прошивки всё стало как на "Ваге". Знаю что это сделано для экономии сцепления,но ездить так ужас-ужасный. По отзывной заменили внутрянку генератора. Заранее купили иридевые "Торчевские" свечи. На родных в жару и в пробках часто есть пропуски. Будем менять. Сейчас к ТО будут делать диагностику. Так как при полном вывороте руля при движении задним ходом пытается заглохнуть. Отвалился немного задний бампер с левой стороны в углу. Часто отключаются ассистенты . Всё горит красным. Некоторые датчики уже меняли по гарантии. Опять начались глюки. Тойотовскому моторчику тяжело таскать этот кузов. Турбина не спасает. МКПП бы и было бы получше. В целом за 20 тысяч киллометров одни расстройства. Всё не отлажено и глючное. На F7 всё в разы работает лучше. Покупать можно после рестайлинга или следующее поколение. А на данный момент-это сырая НеДоМашина.
Been car painter for 10 years all these Chinese vehicles need extensive rust repairs from new no joke. Had one that needed the engine and whole drive train taken out

We repaired it in 2021 so just a couple years after production

Oh dear another typical commenter who pointed out a mistake and making a huge deal over nothing. Yeah I'm not familiar as the fact I made so many videos on various different trim levels of on cars so it's hard to keep track. That why I put to motions graphics so answer all your queries.

lol you dont need to cover plates
The dealership wanted me to do that to promote there dealership also they wanted to cover the number plate as this was a sold vehicle.
It's an ultra if it's top of the range..not lux
