Correct me if I’m wrong but an investment can have 2 IRR values, meaning in the excel formula you should put 0 & 1 right after the *guess option.

I downloaded the file and the result of the NPV (XNPV Formula) is $561,688 rather than $454,239 as shown in your video. I am not seeing something here? 🧐
it’s because the npv doesn’t take into consideration dates so it starts counting year 0 as year 1 while the xnpv does take into consideration dates.
In the aggregate formula, where did you get number 9?
At around 0:53 in the video, there is a list of options to choose. 9 is the SUM for the aggregate formula (4 is Min, 5 is Max, etc.)

hey just trying on excel is the xnpv the same as the npv?
npv assumes regular cashflow periods, xnpv works with the dates of the cashflows as these could be irregular
So, if i want to calculate what amount of money my mom needs to have on her bank account now to live at reasonable income out of it per month i could use npv?
