When loki says he wrote a script of his own, that could be a call back to Thor ragnorok with the play performed. It didn’t happen for this loki but could be a reference
I really hope my theory was right and that Victor Timely is the same "prime" Kang from Quantomania and he'll be able to reunite with Ravonna Rennslayer giving closure to the "I have lost, you have no idea what I've lost." line from Quantomania.
I like how loki feels more mature an more grim how comics usually are its not all peaches an cream an everything goes smooth that's why i hate when marvel will try 2 do both family friendly an mature comics
Seeing Loki and Mobius play good cop-bad cop remined me of Se7en with Brad being John Doe antagonizing both of them to see which one cracks first. Seeing Mobis crack first was a real shock since you wouldn't expect the stoic to be affected by outside noise.
It makes a lot of sense that Loki would be a Ruler of some sort, if you know that Loki is actually Odin's Brother, not Thor's (In the actual myths, not the comics based on them) 💯
Awesome breakdown! MT is the MAN, that last vid on the black hole connection was SO on point, would love to hear more about his theories!!! ONE quick thing, I'm sure its pretty obvious, but I haven't heard anyone mention that; During the end credits, they show us a couple diagrams and an actual prototype temporal loom. While active (View of the temp loom from the tva), the temporal loom is eerily reminiscent of Shang-Chi's 10 rings. Also there are a TON of potential hints/leaks/spoilers in the credits where they show a wall of sticky notes. lots of interesting info there.
Because information cannot be trnansmitted faster than the speed of light, one theory of time travel in our universe is that, even if time travel into the past were possible, time is still progressing at the same rate. No change in the past would be able to catch up to the present because time continues to move forward.
To be honest , I was expecting a call back to Black Widow in the first Avengers movie. The scene where she outsmarts Loki "red in my ledger" to find his plan. It would have been SO cool to see clever Loki use the same tactic on Dave
Doesn't the aura capture a certain person at a certain point in time, though? So, wouldn't Victor have a different aura than HWR? He's a variant and from a different point in time.
Casey has green & purple pens in his shirt pocket creating a blue stain (which I don’t think should happen) … it also happens to be the colour of Kang’s outfit.
How we all are missing all the Breaking Bad reference. 1. Episode name is - Breaking Bred 2. Bred tells loki - you are good at being bad, mirrors walts dialogue - I was good at it (being bad). 3. As Walt was the "hero" of Breaking bad, same may happen to Loki by end of this episode as this video touches upon, tying this neatly with Loki becoming one who remains.
Loki ‘always remains.’ He *NEVER* dies and Disney/Marvel *LOVE THAT* and the fact that Tom said that he’d ‘stay around for as long as they wanted him to.’ Disney/Marvel/Tom: 🤑💰💵
thank you so much for seperating the trailer part. I always have to try to skip those normally. I just watch these for the breakdown. I dont want to know what will happen after.
Something just hit me from He Who Remains. The whole script thing was major, but was it just an illusion. Could he go back just a few minutes and create that script as he went along. All he needed to be able to do was rewind to before the elevator. Maybe that is why they crossed the threshold because at that point he could not go back far enough to not be in the same room. This could also just be him making the paper say whatever he wanted it to say thru some implant. Both of them would be a major change to his power level for knowing things long term.
the key lime pie bit in the automat is super similar to the key lime pies seen at the L&L automat in Agent Carter seen in S1E1, she also gets up to get a slice of pie, which is somewhat visually similar to the ones we see in Loki, although less radioactive green. not sure the significance, if any, but that's something i thought of immediately when seeing the pie in the trailer
Mobius walked to to the Automat without even knowing. I think the Pie makes them forget. The Pie could taste gross, but if they are PROGRAMED to come here to when they are upset or Angry They can be Programed to Think it taste wonderful. I also notice it's GREEN... Like Loki's magic. I have a feeling it's like the mind control that Loki used in the Avengers. Notice how they can only eat ONE and it has to be done in a short time "15 Minutes" doesn't matter. They are outside of time without a way to Measure time length, OuroBoros seems to LOVE his work, so he remembers everything because he never had to "Forget".
Yeah but it’s just an office/prison. Loki is an otherworldly being. A God, an *alien.* He should be visiting all sorts of interesting ‘other worlds’ akin to what he told Thor in the Avengers 1.
8:10 anyone who has had a key coworker or employee leave knows how difficult it is to lose that level of institutional knowledge. I think He Who Remains understands the value of institutional knowledge and that’s why OB has his memory in-tact.
Automat is how that type of restaurant is called. It’s like a big sized vending machines, with food in the windows and a place to put money in to unlock it.
... I didn't think of Loki ending up taking over the TVA! That's brilliant!... Oh, that would be such an awesome move to do! Ending up with Loki as a "secret Main Villain" with a "surprise reveal" that he's pulling the strings of the multiverse... Imagine the MCU heroes making their way to Loki, expecting Kang... Oh, Thor would be so pissed!!!! 😆
11:47 X5’s desire to be an actor is also similar to Cypher from the Matrix who betrays his friends and everything that he had worked for and wanted to “…be someone important. Like an actor.”

I thought the scene where Loki used illusion magic to create a punk gang and the scene where Loki admitted to being a loser where awesome.
Loved this man the acting and writing and meta commentary was all amazing
Brilliant breakdown. Perfect timing.
The key lime pie were variants
*“tHeY’rE gReEn!”*
Weird that Casey acted like he never seen OB before but then askd OB to sign his book next to his picture.
Just finished the episode straight here haha
Tom H. Definitely is saving the MCU. Marvel please get back to your original glory.
Excellent breakdown as well as a deep dive beside.
When loki says he wrote a script of his own, that could be a call back to Thor ragnorok with the play performed. It didn’t happen for this loki but could be a reference
Good one! 😀👍
Dude, you used a TemPad to get this out so fast. Credits still rolling lol.
Ur the only giy who does creative likensuggestions that dint drive me crazy. Keep it up!
Seeing Loki and Mobius play good cop-bad cop remined me of Se7en with Brad being John Doe antagonizing both of them to see which one cracks first. Seeing Mobis crack first was a real shock since you wouldn't expect the stoic to be affected by outside noise.
It makes a lot of sense that Loki would be a Ruler of some sort, if you know that Loki is actually Odin's Brother, not Thor's (In the actual myths, not the comics based on them) 💯
Just so perfect. This is the script and acting we want. Funny and impactful❤❤❤
Dox seemed way to eager to wipe out so many people.
Its a little unsettling just how much murder shes responsible for
Why does she want to erase the timelines anyway?
Loki has saved the Mcu time line
Because information cannot be trnansmitted faster than the speed of light, one theory of time travel in our universe is that, even if time travel into the past were possible, time is still progressing at the same rate. No change in the past would be able to catch up to the present because time continues to move forward.
28:57 and that hand was O.B’s?
Paul the animaniac on the floor, I think McIKEY D's was still selling KEY LIME backi in the 80's.
To be honest , I was expecting a call back to Black Widow in the first Avengers movie.
The scene where she outsmarts Loki "red in my ledger" to find his plan.
It would have been SO cool to see clever Loki use the same tactic on Dave
*Brad
Episode better than last week, and loki using magic, wow. Glad he is finally using it other than for games.
And glad his proper personality is back.
I think they have to get victor because of his aura being a match. They can’t get the blast doors open without a Kang.
Doesn't the aura capture a certain person at a certain point in time, though? So, wouldn't Victor have a different aura than HWR? He's a variant and from a different point in time.
@@ColorMeConfused29 yea I think it’s just gonna come down to how they describe temporal aura. That’s what I thought too🤷🏼♂️
“theory time” “just doing the one” 🤣🤣
Casey has green & purple pens in his shirt pocket creating a blue stain (which I don’t think should happen) … it also happens to be the colour of Kang’s outfit.
Casey is a Kang variant *CONFIRMED!*
How we all are missing all the Breaking Bad reference.
1. Episode name is - Breaking Bred
We highly believe these are the greatest and best breakdowns.
I loved how badass Loki looked when he was walking up after pushing X-5 down the steps
We need to keep badass Loki! Sick of simp Loki!
thank you so much for seperating the trailer part. I always have to try to skip those normally. I just watch these for the breakdown. I dont want to know what will happen after.
I’ll be super sad if O.B. ends up being the evil bad for the season 😢
YES automats are real and look much like the Loki automat. FYI, the Manhattan automats are much more crowded.
@@ChrisM-rh8qt They still have automats in NYC? I thought they went out of business years ago.
@@ChrisM-rh8qt my guy we’re talking about pie here not automats
Mobius walked to to the Automat without even knowing. I think the Pie makes them forget.
The Pie could taste gross, but if they are PROGRAMED to come here to when they are upset or Angry
They can be Programed to Think it taste wonderful. I also notice it's GREEN... Like Loki's magic.
I have a feeling it's like the mind control that Loki used in the Avengers. Notice how they can only eat ONE and it has to be done
in a short time "15 Minutes" doesn't matter. They are outside of time without a way to Measure time length, OuroBoros seems to LOVE his work,
so he remembers everything because he never had to "Forget".
Wouldn't they have then forgot about Brad?
I've been a fan of theory time for years I'm glad M.T is part of the team now
Always loved the style and colors they used in loki and the TVA, that retro advanced technology is awesome.
Yeah but it’s just an office/prison. Loki is an otherworldly being. A God, an *alien.* He should be visiting all sorts of interesting ‘other worlds’ akin to what he told Thor in the Avengers 1.
Twins? Holy! Congrats, mate and I hope you feel better soon. Lovely vid, though.
Thanks for the great breakdown!
I am not sure if it means anything, but I find it interesting that Sylvie's earrings are Egyptian Ankh symbols or "the key of life"
You're so lucky you get to watch these things early. Love ya Paul
8:10 anyone who has had a key coworker or employee leave knows how difficult it is to lose that level of institutional knowledge. I think He Who Remains understands the value of institutional knowledge and that’s why OB has his memory in-tact.
Oh Paul, love MT, but missed your voice. Its comforting lol
Great timing. Thanks for video
Great episode. I love Loki and OB.
Great job!
I have to compliment the extensive verbiage used to get me to smash the thumbs up button. I've never been more convinced by a TH-cam video in my life.
Thank you, Host Paul.
