Fantastic episode, Mike each episode you are becoming more and more articulate. Loved your connection to him about how as a kid you struggle to control outcomes and now as an adult you have the ability to control it.
The smoothness of this episode is insane. You guys seem like old friends! For his next millionth challenge, Kevin should walk 1 million steps! If he targets 10k a day he can do it in under a year easily!
Got to hand it to you guys, incredibly inspirational conversation. Not just about push-ups (although it is inspiring me to start working out again), but about life, motivation, and perspective. Also shout out to anyone who's been encouraged or transformed though a retreat experience. I presented at a few Kairos retreats in the past - amazing opportunity.
I really appreciate this thoughtful comment, Mark. Thank you (as always) for listening! Kairos was an unforgettable experience… Maybe I’ll lead one some day 🙂
He’s big in saying time after time ‘I don’t care what others think of me’ as he appears wherever he can and makes videos for others. As ugh he’s a beer drinker
Hmmm… I’m not sure I agree with your comment but I really appreciate you leaving your thoughts. Just because he’s making videos doesn’t mean he cares about what others think - I think he’s doing it to inspire others. Maybe I’m thinking about it wrong.
LOL, "Now that you've been disciplined and gotten into amazing shape by doing 1,000,000 push-ups, you should turn to alcohol." A lot of people don't do the maths on this stuff. A million beers... If he lives until he's 95 he's got about 22,000 days left. That's almost 50 beers a day. I'd be impressed if he survived 2 weeks doing that. 🤣 EDIT: Of course Kevin himself had done the maths... I don't think I could learn a million words in different languages, but maybe 100,000? I think I might do that.
Thank you so much for checking out the podcast! If you enjoyed, please consider leaving a like and even subscribing 😊 - Mike
