I am 71 years old and have been a music lover all my life, but at the end of this piece I heard for the first time a person make their guitar cry!

Songs all sound the same, melodies boring as shit, makes no decisions in terms of composition, just floats by on basic picking patterns while sounding ethereal.
Long S5 I think there's a fine line between simple and basic. I feel that some artists do too much and it takes away from the song. Lyrically, she's wonderful, and I feel that does a nice job of focusing attention there instead of hiding it behind complicated melodies. Different strokes for different folks, man.

i discovered Julien at December 2015, two months after her Sprained Ankle album released. this week the beautiful Funeral Pyre was released and my love for this girl is growing everytime i heard one of her songs.
This is genius.
Been watching videos of her for five days and it still makes me cry. Good god. The energy she has is so special.
