Crows can become lifetime friends with humans if you are lucky enough to become befriended by one.
Irene was such a lucky person with Isabelle and Urkel. May their friendship be long lasting!

Reminded me of my pet crow. I rescued him when I was a teenager and coming back home from school, saw three baby crows crying in pain and who fell down from their nest. One baby died instantly and the other passed away on just reaching home within my hands. The one who survived was hand-fed and grown fully by me only, early morning before going to school and in the afternoon, when I reached back. He was sitting all day long in the backyard and never flown away despite communicating with so many crows all around. He only allowed me and my sister to touch and nobody else including my brothers. He was a healthy, happy crow and after a year or so one day he flew away and never came back. Maybe he finds a life partner!

Birds are amazing aren't they. My buddy ,a crow ,I named Essy (thought he was a girl) and he brought a younger crow once to his snack spot. After a bad storm resulted in a large branch being broken off the tree Essie didn't show up as often for a bit but four younger crows did. So now I have five crows coming for dinner and building a nest in my tree. They are not thrilled ,however, by my other new neighbor a young squirrel (I believe it is a she based on her belly looking as though she may be nursing) who also loves peanuts :) I guess my grocery bill will be growing lol.

“Crow” is used for the whole corvid genus, so…fair enough, I suppose. In Europe, jackdaws often hang around in mixed flocks with rooks, which are much bigger. There used to be a jackdaw come to our school playground when I was a child, which entertained itself and us day after day by untying our shoelaces.

It's not a crow, it's a Jackdaw. No idea why the person who made the video thinks it's a crow, a crow does not ever have eyes like that, a crow's eyes are always dark brown (except when it's a baby, they are briefly blue, but not icey-bright-blue like a Jackdaw).
Crows are amazing in their intelligence, thought! You're sure right about that. Jackdaws are really smart, too.
Honestly, though, the person who made the video needs to do a little research....it's obvious its not a crow. On top of the eyes being wrong, the size is wrong, and the beak shape, and.....

Crows are incredibly smart!! The fact that she has made friends with Anna and her family is amazing! I’m betting she watched them and “sussed them out” for quite a while before approaching - as I said, they’re extremely intelligent birds, so unlikely to come near someone who might be inclined to hurt them. I heard a story once of another family that made friends with a crow and they’d bring gifts to them, in return for feeding them, giving them shiny things as gifts, etc. They became such good friends that the crow would sometimes follow the mother when she went out. She was a photographer and one time was out taking pictures in the forest. She dropped something or forgot about it (I think it might have been a lens cap, but I’m not 100% certain), leaving it at the location. That lens cap (or whatever) made it home before she did - it was waiting for her when she got home, at the spot where they usually exchanged gifts. She beat the mom home because, while the woman travelled by road, the crow (obviously) flew “as the crow flies” reducing the distance considerably. She would also find and return things if the family dropped them around the yard. There were far more details, but that’s really the only part I recall. It showed the close bond they developed! But I don’t remember the story saying the crow ever entered the house, and can’t recall if the crow ever sat on their hand, arm or shoulders. So this story also demonstrates how close of a bond that humans and crows can develop! Crows are so often maligned as thieves, or mocked for their rather raucous cries. It’s so nice to hear a heartwarming story about them!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have now had many conversations with people who got to know each individual crow as years went on and could recognize them and they could recognize people. That's just incredible very lucky lady a crow chose you for company, her silent company the way she moves looks what you're doing etc...for hours there's no need for words really, she's saying it all with her cute sweet movements around you, and that's the secret in animals around us we will never understand ...
That's why I think it's a sin to mistreat ANY of them, who knows we are here to take better care if them too? we know nothing in this rock 3rd from a star, in this huge universe alone??? this rock with miraculous abundance of life it's just makes you think really..
Why a crow found this lady so interesting to have non verbal communication?
They can find food and water anywhere, certainly it's not JUST that....🙄😘❤️or maybe as you said an angel flying in ❤️

Oh ... you changed your channel avatar. I didn't know Dodo birds were gay. You are a channel about cute animal so stories so what does that have to do with men's gaping butt holes?

      Lmao
You know the LGBT isn't only about gay sex between men right?
The comparison you used doesn't even make complete sense either.
Please stop sexualizing homosexuals and the LGBT. 🙏

Wow. Our crows in North America are just not this bold. But my two crows (wife and husband) do come when we call them for food. And the other day in a rain storm, they left their baby on our covered porch, trusting us not to hurt him. That was a very big deal.

This is not, as the woman says, a crow but instead a Jackdaw! They're a little more mischievous than crows. Slightly smaller, have light blue/grey eyes and have slightly grey "hoods". They can make such a ruckus in the morning! I recommend you watch some videos on Jackdaws!

    • @CharlotteIssyvoo
      @CharlotteIssyvoo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@PolarBear-rc4ks I saw that, and thought, "Oh, maybe they're just a type of crow." Thanks for the clarification. That makes more sense now. I wish we had them where I live.
