What year was this story done? Lol. A lot of tv stars and movie stars end up living in different states most of the time. In 08 or 2009 I mas able to meet her. She born in either Zachary or Pride which so close together that we all call it Zachary. I tell you what, even at the age that she was, she was still a very beautiful woman. She was very down to Earth and even as popular as she was, she seemed to enjoy people, well thats the impression that i got from her. Well Ms. Donna came back home and she was laid to rest in 2015 or 2016. I moved to Zachary Louisiana back in 1997 and its for the most part a good place to live. She was buried at the Bluff Creek Community Cemetery.

She loved being known as Elly May, definitely not one of these actresses who resent one famous role overshadowing the rest of their career,, almost always adding "Elly May" to her autograph.
She was not a diva and didn't take herself so seriously.

so the critics gave it horrible ratings despite the fact it was the number one show for 2 years which proves my point about critics which I've said all along. Their opinions are theirs alone and no one else's. I've always felt critics is the most overrated and worthless profession on the planet.
