This started out really strong, but I think it ended up being a little more mean spirited than I expected. I am glad to have gotten to watch it though, and I thank you for posting it!
That lady with the dogs looks and sounds like Harriet MacGibbon who played as Margaret Drysdale. This lady's name is Lyda Kane, who apparently was a different actress but MacGibbon was married to William Kane.
Anyone else recognize the soldier outfit? Looks like the soldiers uniform at the witches castle in wizard of oz which came out 3 years after this. Same wardrobe department?
Irene and Tim were married in 1922 later divorced in 1943. In this movie, Irene uses a version of her last name, Noblette. Irene’s actual last name was spelled Noblitt. I’m not sure at what point she took her married name for use as her professional name.

Thanks for uploading all these videos of my Uncle Tim. I’ve never seen these before. I would love to get these on dvd or as a file to save
So the eventual star Irene Ryan, famous as Granny Clampett of The Beverly Hillbillys, was your aunt?
@@markfurman4386 Yes. Tim is my grandfathers brother.
@@DGRYAN1977 your great aunt irene must have been a trip
First time I've ever seen Tim. So handsome!!!
Wow, from all that time ago 20 years before I was born. A great comedy I thought. Many thanks for this gem. Cheers
All these movie shorts I never knew existed until I discovered this channel. Thanks from Canada!

Granny never became a mother or granny in real life.
And I'll readily agree that's extremely unfortunate....
Neither did Betty Jo Bradley
Before she was granny

I knew it! I knew it! Irene was pretty under all her character costumes. 🥰🥰🥰
The wackiest comedy short with Tim and Irene Ryan ever made😅.

Possibly even the same sound stage(s) or other production facilities, including personnel.
2 elevator doors and a wall 😂😂
Irene was 34 here.
And maintained her foxiness all the way to her inglorious exit from this life....😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
" and that's a wrap Gentlemen"

Odd film. Just odd. Lol 😂 thanks for sharing
From the days before comedy was invented, I suppose.
"Invented"?! Not by a helluva long shot; comedy's actually a "discovery".
@@CraigFThompson You're sort of missing my point.

@@CraigFThompson Yes, you are. You're also muted. See ya!
Even in '36 there were bad movies.
This show really is mean spirited and just trash. Smh
At the VERY LEAST, they were creative, and earned a helluva lot of "green" ($)!
