I tend to over explain things, but showing the process of getting a carrack from nothing to complete is one of the aims of this series. Glad you're enjoying it.
Hi Vengensir, one correction - you need level 50 to use ship cannons, not 56! I'm interested in this series as I mostly do sailing content in BDO, and am wondering if I could do something like this on a fresh account. As for the choice of carrack, I would go with the Valor. The Volante is 5% faster, but with good sailors and sailing gear you can get a Valor over 200% speed. The valor's faster cannon speed is so good when fighting sea monsters.
50 is better than 56, thank you. You could do this on a fresh account, but depending on your own rules you might have a hard time. The great expedition questline is locked behind level 50 too. I wanted to go from 1, but that is impossible with ships locked behind level 6, quests and cannons behind level 50.
IMO Valor will be better, coz it is universal, has enough slots and weight for oceanic barter. And even more ideal for killing sea monsters. And also don’t forget to set up the extraction of drawings around Ilia island!
I love the idea. Cant wait to see the upcoming adventures of yours as pirate. However, recording the TH-cam videos like twich broadcasting kinda owerwhelming. On average, %90 of the time in your videos tends to stray away from the core topic. For example this one. 1 hour duration but nothing bout pirating. Please dont get me wrong i m following you since almost 1 year and i want your channel to be succesful. But donno sometimes i watch so much boring, empty stuff during the entire videos. So, editing the videos based on the advertising topic and shortened the duration may lure many viewers. For instance, you upload a video as tittled as "enchanting manos" but i watch you to farm or gather or many stuffs which takes around 1 hour than 5 minutes enchant. Apart from that, i also want to see some short educative videos related the game mechanics. For instances, worker system or farming/ cooking etc or videos that covers how to do the journals. So, that way i m sure many people will be following. I apologize if my feedback upset you in any way. My intention was only to provide constructive criticism and help improve the content.
I like the feedback. I am trying to put out long and short videos to cater to everyone based on the channel poll I did. This video was derailed due to level requirements for using boats and cannons on the boats. Yesterday's video was definitely a mess I was unhappy with. I face a dilemma. I can leave everything in the challenge vids or I can cut parts out and have their legitimacy questioned. I've chosen to only play when on recording but maybe it's time to slow down production and edit everything down. I appreciate your support.

Why's all the rum gone?!? The higher ships are better for sea combat so it gets easier. The bartali boat is very frustrating, but is quick to upgrade.
You might have some of those Finto's juice somewhere from login rewards to enhance your weight, but it should go up as you level too.
pretty cool series, it's cool to see sailing content from scratch - guides are often terrible at explaining sea content
