Too much protein as well can hurt. True that doctors don't tell anything about diabetes just stop eating sugar. I was pre-diabetic when it was noticed and it was an elderly doctor that told me I was over-medicated. I had to really research because you are also told that it is a progressive disease and in time you will have to take insulin. Well it has been over 12 yrs and I am doing good because of my management of it. No new meds at all.

How doctor careless suh????????? The first thing to order on your patients is screening for such things like hypertension and a blood and urine test for any signs of damage to the organs from diabetes and other diseases???????
