Q: Where is your accent from?
A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.
Q: Do you work? What do you work as?
A: I worked in Marketing and PR but I now focus on my vlog full time.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Matt for since 2009, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser (born 2010), Caleb (born 2013) and Jackson (born in 2016).
Q: What camera do you use to film?
A: I film my videos with the Canon G7X and a Canon EOS M50.
Q: What lighting do you use?
A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.
Q: Where do you get music from?

Is it bad to say I find it really nice seeing the boyfriends or husbands helping cleaning, I'm sure behind the scenes they do, but in the videos it's still nice to see them helping x
Yes Matt more than pulls his weight, and important that we don't praise men too much for doing what they should be doing, helping!! It's 2021 after all. Matt is actually obsessed with doing the laundry 😂 Fine by me!! Thank you so much for watching and stay safe Shannon xx
On this subject, can anyone recommend a channel where a man does speed cleans and organising? I love watching them but I sometimes worry that it's a bit unbalanced

When I married my husband I didn’t believe in family cleaning because I’d never seen it. Thank God for his mom and family for setting an example and now we get to raise our family to model it too!
I know right?! Wouldn't it be awesome if we could go to couples' school before moving in together? Get to know how to work through life together.

I like a mix of both long and short videos! I will just watch short ones when they come out but I tend to save long ones to watch/listen to while I clean my own house. Which is what I've done today 🙂

At my own house I feel overwhelmed when I see all the mess and what there is to do. It is motivating to see it is "normal" and a step by step process and how calm you are and really diligent. Thank you for sharing and the solution for lego. They should provide a after opening solution!

I like to binge on the longer videos. This was watched on my phone. But will likely be replayed later on our tv. My ten year old daughter loves your videos too. One video motivated her to clean our entire peninsula counter!

My favorite part of the new year is getting the house deep cleaned, decorations away, and purging a few items to make room for the new stuff. I have half the house done. I make it manageable by doing two zones a day untill it's all done.

Seeing Matt clean on here.... now I know that he dislikes the camera and my hubby is an introvert as well so makes absolute sense, but seriously, seeing him clean up all of that was amazing!! Go Matt!! My hubs and I split our housework and it really is the coolest thing to do and be as a hubby in modern times. More cleaning from Matt videos! and your boys as well ; ). It's a great example!!!!

It’s so refreshing to see that your immaculate home can get messy too! I also have difficulty finding a place for new gifts, they usually sit in a pile for ages until i can find somewhere for them. Good Video, Thanks!

We did an extreme clean and I was inspired by yours. I do personally prefer shorter ones. But for big festivities you should keep slightly longer ones like this. Love it xxx

Glad you to us about your cleaning tools coz I was going to ask what spray mop you got. My viledo spray mop leaves streaks on my tile flooring downstairs, I have tiles on most of the downstairs except the front room where its wood. So I have to use a steam mop but I'm so glad theres a spray mop out there that doesn't leave streaks
As someone who really enjoys cleaning as well as being intentional, I reckon you'd really like all these new zero-waste alternatives. :) Thank you for some great inspiration once again! x
Regular short ones are great for sitting down with a quick cuppa and to keep you motivated! But its nice to have the odd long deep clean as well 😊🙌👏 always love your videos. Love seeing matt involved too. X

Hi Emily, Thank you for your cleaning videos. I watched part of this whilst ironing today and it motivated me to vacuum the whole house afterwards. You somehow manage to keep up a seamless flow of completely natural commentary (about something as mundane as cleaning a house!) in your gentle, soothing accent during the voiceover. It’s a real talent. No wonder you are a star. I’m missing your holiday abroad videos so fingers crossed for 2021!

I'm pregnant this time with morning sickness and a toddler to look after the house is a tipppp but I don't have any energy to keep cleaning up after my toddler 😭
Beautiful Home 💎! Not only did hubby help clean but he know how to clean he did everything right. 👌 I'm like if that was my husband I would have to tell him "No hon that don't go there " you know what I mean lol☺ ! two thumbs up 👍👍
NOBODY should have to justify or explain their furniture/decor pieces. If someone criticises or even thinks they have a right to judge your house then they are just outright rude. If someone was to make a comment about anything in my house then I would gladly tell them to leave.

I honestly love both types of your cleaning videos! Your 10 min speed cleans or power hours are so motivational but these long cleans are so satisfying to see it all get done!
