Thank you for covering this. I was just there a week and a half ago. My husband and his family flew to Grenada and we spent 3 amazing days in Carriacou. Came back to the States and told everyone much we enjoyed being there. We even visited Anse la Roche. My heart breaks for the people of Carriacou. Definitely in my prayers.
I watched your aftermath video before seeing this one. It’s hard to fathom how beautiful a place can be just hours before a hurricane of that magnitude. I can’t wrap my head around it. The people of Carriacou seem to be great ppl of strength and resilience. God bless them. 😭😭😭
My thoughts are with you. Stay safe please. I live in Acapulco and we recently faced Hurrican Otis. It's a strong experience but now we are back on our feet, and so you will be. Thoughts and prayers with you, the world is watching and you won't be alone.

Can you inform us if your island home is going to take a major hit? For some reason the US weather media don't give specific updates and many of us aren't familiar with where you guys are on the map in relation to the hurricane path. Thank you. 😊
@@RoseSharon7777 Jonathan and WXChasing are the only sources for imagery and updates about this catastrophic event. I'm current off island in Mexico. But all the updates I have, including a satellite text from a local who is watching our boat is that everything is flattened, lots of damage, and all the boats are sideways. :(
Thank you for showing the world this beautiful island, I have been to Barbados three times, an caught the edge of a hurricane a couple of years ago, it was lucky for the island to escape the full force!! I send my thoughts and prayers to the people of the Caribbean that have or will be severely impacted by this very powerful storm, stay safe everyone, and I hope the international community will come to help you recover your island communities!!
So many 'before' moments and places to grieve. This was heart-breaking to watch after seeing your day after the hurricane video post. It's no more. What a beautiful little place with so many wonderful people, animals, and flora.

Such a mind-boggling contrast between the two incredible videos you've shot - before and after. Heartbreaking to see the utter devastation of the storm.
Thank you for sharing this video and the aftermath. We pray for the people of this island, but I cannot get over how positive in thinking they all were, after the storm passed.

Thank you so very much for sharing. I am so glad that you got to show the world our little beautiful paradise of an island and just how powerful Mother Nature is. The pride and joy and genuine and peaceful nature of our people was ever evident throughout the video. Great work !
The country/state of Grenada consists of three main islands. The main island is Grenada itself which is 120 square miles. The other two islands are Grenadine islands consisting of Carriacou and Petite Martinique which are roughly 13 square miles. Petite Martinique means little Martinique and is not to be confused with the larger island of Martinique which is a French colony . Grenada itself was colonised by the French and many or most of the villages are named in French. After several battles Grenada was ceded to the British and some of the streets and towns are British named. There is another small inhabited island called Calivigny island which is also part of Grenada.
