  • Based on a long wheelbase incarnation of the Recon G6 Certified SCA-1E, we have taken the success of that first rig and produced a RTR with many additional features and performance enhancements. Our core values remain the same, and the brands ethos of producing products that offer Quality, Fun, Performance & Scale Realism has never been so relevant.
This is the first of a new generation of SCA-1E using a fully licensed bodyshell , that blends the weight saving of Lexan, with additional detailing of Injection moulded parts. It's the best of both worlds, offering photo realistic looks, but without the centre of gravity issues associated with running a full hard bodied rig.
    The SCA-1E Ford F-150 1976 features: -
Highly detailled Licenced Ford 1976 F-150 body with moulded scale accessories
324mm LWB chassis, meaning that the body will also direct fit TRX4 & SCX10.2
New Forward Weight Bias battery mount position to improve crawling capability
New Own Brand ARC-1 ESC, Improved throttle finesse & voltage protection
New Chassis Mounted Steering Servo position for additional scale realism
New symettrical 1.9 True Beadlock Carisma Scale Adventure wheels
New soft compound 110mm all terrain scale tyres
The forward mounted battery position alters the weight-bias of the rig to improve its ability to ascend steep inclines and aid in Rock Crawling. The CMS (Chassis Mounted Servo), keeps the steering servo up high and out of view, cleaning up the look of the front axle and offering better scale realism. New true beadlock 1.9 wheels are shod with soft compound All Terrain tyres, and allow for further adjustments in weight bias using stick on wheel weights.
As with the Coyote and the LYNX ORV, this is just the starting point for as detailed, or as simple a build as you feel. From Trail Running and Bashing, to G6ing and Scale Competition, the new SCA-1E Ford F-150 will allow you to experience the exiting world of Scale at whatever level you feel is best for you.
With a full Performance Hop Up range in continual development and tested by our own team drivers, and additional scale accessories being released by both the brand itself and third party partners, it's never been a better time to start (or continue) your own, personal Scale Adventure.
"1976 Was A Historic Year, 2018 Will Be Even Better!"

Good looking rig. I have the Coyote, but never did much with it. I might have to pick up one of these to do a side by side, to see how much it really is improved.

I have the Coyote and Ascender, Coyote i turned into a trail truck, 21t motor, much better at going fast. Just had my Hobby Shop pre-order this... looks like a much better crawler! (its beautiful too)!!

Very nice looking grille & body... I'd drop some 1.7" wheels and tires on it to make it more accurate overall, skinny ones to narrow it up. That's pretty typical, however - swapping out wheels and tires on an RTR to personalize it. I like the Coyote body as well, you guys are doing some great work. I'm especially glad there are no "trusses" in the Ford cab-to-bed junction that can somewhat ruin the body's lines, such as we see on many Lexan trucks.

Totally agree... manufacturers need to include wheel wells, Velcro instead of body pins and this truck needs a roll bar with Hella lights IMHO... and yes skinny tires...

Looks great, aluminium steering tie-rod improved the steering. I bought this thinking it would be a good partner againt my element trailwalker - bought new together. There will be a few mods before it is on par. Im considering putting element enduro diffs under it, 3 link the front with a panhard rod for improved steering. stock shocks a preety average, very grabby and stiff so ill probably buy better ones. I dont dislike it, it could have been a little better but then again it was cheaper. i like the LWB aspect.

@@stinky3shoes491 Tbh my m8 bought the Coyote sca-1e and it's a really decent trail rig for £219. can do pretty much what my TRX-4 does. just don't feel as nice as the trx-4 to drive. but hey the trx-4 was £440. bought my nephew a Ecx barrage doomsday for crimbo. good little crawler and ripe for mods. was £120 .

This is a terrible truck out of the box, weakest steering servo I’ve ever seen, tires are worse than something from dollar general, motor transmitter and esc are as cheesy as it comes! All bushings no bearings whatsoever, pathetic steering geometry and linkage! Trust me spent 10 bucks more and get a trx4 sport.
