i wish they weren't so narrow, would of been nice if they made it wide enough so that the wheels were mostly under the body.

New in the hobby and can understand how to do it.

The mirrors have small posts which can be glued or melted to base plate also included, or check out my vids for instructions on how to make them more durable
thanks for the vid. I got the orange edition a few days ago for my wife. Bought used from an elder man no wasn't using it anymore. Need to change the shock oil. What's the best weight to use for this truck?

Yes mate, the suspension is adjustable and oil filled so you have options to tune it 👍🏼

Yeah the vehicle is waterproof, just clean it after use to keep it running smoother for longer

the ford body looks great, pity its way to narrow.
I want to like this truck. I really do. My father had a 79 so these trucks have a special place in my heart. But this is just... Body is too narrow for the axles. Sits too high. And the wheel/tire combo is too big. Honestly out of the box the traxxas bronco looks way better. I guess I'm a nit picky scale nerd but I will stick with my custom built 79. Nice vid though!

As someone who grew up lifitng and off roading these trucks, with them having 35 to 44" tires, it looks exactly like trucks that were in my HS parking lot. It's not supposed to look like a stock '76 F150.
@@westernsharpie yeah I have some experience building 70s ford rc trucks. My first attempt was with a jconcepts 79 and the measurements are shockingly similar to this one. Thanks for noticing.

This is a terrible truck out of the box, weakest steering servo I’ve ever seen, tires are worse than something from dollar general, motor transmitter and esc are as cheesy as it comes! All bushings no bearings whatsoever, pathetic steering geometry and linkage! Trust me spent 10 bucks more and get a trx4 sport.
