I love how this video really captured the weakness and vulnerability of Ammar. It showed that he’s not always that “extroverted, positive, and full of energy Ammar”. Which is beautiful and very relatable to many of their viewers!

I feel like london is one of the hardest cities to do something like this in. People in london are typically not very receptive to strangers bothering them. Also probably didnt help that you called them a bag of chips instead of crisps. That said those moments when you do meet receptive people are just that much sweeter, banger video as always, hope to see a success in the next video aha
You guys have been a huge uplifting part of my life. I was a traindriver and owned a bar (for 2 years, 6 months after I bought and renovated it covid forced everyone to close in Belgium) then had a accident 3 years ago. So I’ve been in pain for 3 years. But tomorrow i am getting a neural stimulator implanted! So for the first time since august 2018 i will be pain free. Meanwhile i sold the bar and my house because I couldn’t afford it anymore. Bought a smaller house. But what you guys do is truly a way to live! Thanks for lifting me up!
I used to do this with tea bags all the time as a scout. Maybe it was because we were sweet little kids, but once we started the afternoon with a teabag and ended up with an old caravan. Sadly we had to return it. But the things we came back with every single time were amazing. The trick is to nog limit yourself to a single item. If someone wants to give you three oranges take them and then trade either 1 or all 3 depending on the value you are offered. That way you are more flexible because otherwise, the only people you can trade with are people who have a more valuable thing than your ONE item... I also understand you don't want to film people's homes, but most of the time we just rang a doorbell, simply because people tend to have a house full of stuff they want to get rid of, while you often don't carry your worthless unwanted items with you on the street...

Agreed it might’ve been easier at that age with a scout uniform and we were usually in groups of 4-5 but that time with the old caravan we had a two books, a kid bicycle helmet, half a dozen glass tea licht holders and a bunch of food items, one of which a bag of chips that we took for ourselves for al the hard work! That was maybe just over 15 minutes in… at one point we were hauling a 3 seater leather couch that ‘surprise surprise’ nobody wanted…

I had seen the Ted talk of paperclip guy, and I was both excited and anxious, because it did take one full year for him to do this. I know Ammar will make it. Even more so with the results he had, even when he lost it all so far. I was honnestly more expecting him to give his stuff away for people in a rush that needed it than losing it, but it was hilarious, in a way xD Keep up the good work, guys!

About a year and a half ago I was sitting playing Call of Duty with my friends when I randomly thought of the idea to recreate the paperclip challenge from way back. However, this was different, as COVID was just ramping up any provided a major obstacle. I wanted to do everything through the mail primarily. I showcased this new idea on TikTok. Went to bed, next day the video has over 7 million views. Long story short I traded 11 items with people throughout the country - mostly random, but some major influencers and rappers - and ended up with a $3500 camera. The series totaled over 150M views and got me 2.2M followers. After initially posting my series a bunch of people recreated it themselves and tried the challenge. It caused a ripple effect that likely to some degree inspired this video [I atleast hope! :)] Great video as always. Much love!
