We had a Freshly Charged vacation in Oahu and decided to rent NIU electric scooters in Waikiki from Hawaiian Style Rentals and Sales. We took the eMoped scooters to Diamond Head Volcano, through the canopies of Tantalus Lookout, and along the coast of Waikiki.
The scooters were perfect for the crazy traffic of Waikiki and got us thinking of the top 10 reasons you should check out a NIU eMoped.

I loved my first Vino except it got totaled when someone pulled out in front of me. I bailed and ran into oncoming traffic that managed to be not moving. Everyone was unharmed and since the individual didn't have insurance he took me to a dealer the next week and wrote a check for a brand new Vino.
I had a 1986 Yamaha CA50 (in 1986). It was transportation to and from work at a Woolworth diner 😂😂😂. Unfortunately I didn’t know anything about engines back then and I never filled the oil reservoir (and I never remembered the oil light coming on). Anyway, that destroyed it since it was a 2 stroke. Fast forward 37 years, I bought 2 scooters (taotao pony 50, but made mine an 80) for my wife and I to ride around because all these years I never forgot about that little Yamaha.

Congrats on your son graduating. I went to Kauai last year. It was my first time to Hawaii (I live in Chicago). It was amazing, so much beauty. My goal is to visit a different Hawaiian island each year. Maui is next!

I sold my ebike (you call it "scooter" in this video) two years ago and bought a normal (standing) e-scooter instead. Couldn't be happier, just throw it in my car's trunk and take it anywhere I want.

I've loved scooters from when I was about 11 my friend fome Italys dad owned a scooter shop and sold and fixed Vespas lambrettas, the odd moped I was thinking about buying the NIU moped because there is a sale in the uk at the moment and I fancy a change from riding my ebikes ❤✌🏾

Might look like a car battery but it’s the battery the manufacturer made for that moped. Bigger battery gives it more range
@@grazz7865what I really meant by "car batteries" is, the use of lead acid like standard card battery uses. If they're li-ion, I'm all for it.
@@henrychua7451 oh I see. They give you the cheap price for the lead acid battery. If you select the lithium battery, the price substantially changes 😂😂😂
For those living in the Philippines. Avoid this brand. Sales is notorious for avoiding inquiries and after sales services.
I like this Scooter 🛵 but I’m kinda like a all or nothing guy I would Probably buy the BMW CE04 for the extreme side of scooters or buy on the conservative side and get a Roadrunner Pro. And try to ride register free lol 😎 but overall great video always love to see a new Freshly Charged video 🛴🫡.
winterizing a scooter is the reason your not gonna ride it is so dumb. dur id rather have to charge it every day like a moron
Ya I have a Yamaha Zuma 125 and have never so called winterized it… I have had it for years and live in Colorado. I put non ethanol gas in it and just go start it up and ride it around a little on warmer days. It fuel injected, so I have never had a problem with it starting.
