I love the capsule you created! I am a soft gamine with a classic essence. I have a lot of these pieces in my wardrobe. Would you please do a video on hairstyles, jewelry and makeup that would complement this style?
I looove your take on Kibbe and capsule wardrobe ! Could you do another one for the soft dramatic ? I found it quite diffecult to find casual options 😢
Hey, Alyssa, I simply loved your channel and work! I'm sorry for my English (I'm Brazilian and I'm not a fluent speaker yet), but I'd like to suggest a video to you. I'm 26, concluding my master's degree and applying for a PhD position. I feel my style is becoming more classic (and I think my Kibbe body type is indeed classic) and I want to be suited to the academic environment. However, I don't want to appear older than I am. I don't like extremely short shorts/skirts and I'm crazy about slighly casual button down shirts (I'd like to have several in different colors to pair with V-neck tank tops). My great doubt is on bottoms to pair with this "uniform", as well as other shapes of tops for variety. The main colors of my ideal wardrobe are black, bright blue and emerald green (I have a more neutral skin undertone, but cool/dark colors and true white are definitely better). Could you please suggest how can I build a capsule wardrobe for going to the university? Thank you so much!! Ps.: the temperatures here where I live are about 30°C.
If you love black, absolutely! Black can create a really interesting contrast on light color types. Usually it will appear more sharp or edgy and a little less "harmonious," but that can still be a really cool look. If you want to follow color types strictly, Winter types, Dark Autumn, and Bright Spring are the types that look "best" in black. But in my opinion, color types are just a data point/perspective that is useful for making informed decisions about personal style, color types are not strict rules for us to follow.
I just discovered your channel and it's great! I have tired to find a video that might help me out. Do you have anything that covers someone who has a Soft Summer color type, but likes to dress more edgy casual? Most of my wardrobe is black, but it's not my best color. I'm trying to figure out how to replace those without losing my style totally. Also, any tips for someone who works in a warehouse but still wants to look stylish? Jeans, tshirts, and a hoodie are my go to, but it's so plain. Thanks!
I would say this video th-cam.com/video/aO1VK7KRYo8/w-d-xo.html or maybe this one th-cam.com/video/e3kjl_YMaW4/w-d-xo.html should have some good ideas for you 🥰 I will add your request for a casual and edgy Soft Summer capsule to my list as well!
I assume you want two different wardrobes - one for work and one for your social life. How about starting with work and picking a different dark color. What are you drawn to? Perhaps charcoal or rusty brown? They can be edgy and are trendy now. Start by pairing them with safe colors like white or a similar tonal color. Test them out. Figure out what else they would look good with. Maybe go to a thrift store and try on some new colors. Buy some. Experiment some more. Figure out what part of your style you want to keep and what you want to change.
@@americafirst9144 I struggle with the clothing choices. I seem to be mostly wearing a gray tshirt with a gray sweatshirt and jeans. I just don't know how to style work clothes for a warehouse where I don't feel really plain.
@@solasolar1 I'm sure it is a challenge. You probably have to avoid things like scarves, necklaces and loose clothing because of safety concerns. What colors do people compliment you on? Look into capsule wardrobes. This time of year ponte pants with long sleeve t-shirts and lightweight jackets or crewnecks might work.
Hi Sarah! I’m in the Natural family because I have quite wide shoulders and larger bones in general. I lean toward FN 🥰 we could still have a lot of similarities though!
What do you think of the Old Money aesthetic? Will you incorporate any elements of this style into your capsule wardrobe this fall?
old money is not my style but every capsule you make is still so inspiring and useful in different ways

So glad you loved it! And that's a great idea!

Congratulations on completing your Masters!! I will certainly take this idea into consideration 🥰
Can a light colour type wear black dresses, shoes, bags etc.?
