What a great and extremely rare catch. This must be the first and only video of the blue train with class 43GE diesels at the helm. I'm extremely jealous 😅. In my ideal world, the blue train would have its own custom painted set of 43GEs just like the 20Es. A modern train needs modern diesels locomotives. Nicely captured, Oom Piet👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Glad you enjoyed it! Yes Marval, I was very lucky! The 43's left later that day with a freight train and the BT left for Pretoria on her scheduled time with a pair of 35's. (Next video to be uploaded).
