Love my T21. Works great with Memobottle Slim.
Definitely a great sling. I might just have to pick up a memobottle slim, thanks for the tip.
An iPad mini 6 will fit in this sling without a case or with a VERY slim case. Speaking from experience, this is my edc sling.
I almost got this guy a few months back went with the Alpaka Go Sling instead. Tomtoc definitely is a good value for the price.
Love ALPAKA. I’ve been looking at the go sling and the bravo sling for a while now. Eventually I’ve gotta pick one of those up.
I’ve had the non xpac version for almost a year and love it. Very comfortable.
It’s setup to carry very well
Im currently torn between this and the Aer Day Sling XPAC. The Aer is about double the price but having had their travel pack 3 Xpac since it came out I've had 0 complaints. This Tomtoc sling really has me torn though it looks good!
@@PTR2K personally, I’d go with the T21 over the day sling. I think the T21 carries better and I don’t like the slide fidlock on the day sling. Really can’t go wrong with either though.
Will you review the tomtoc Wander-T26 as well?
I don’t have it, but was just checking it out and, yes, going to have to pick one up. Might be a bit before I get a review out. Looks like a nice sling!
I have been using the Day Sling 3 X-Pac for almost a month and unfortunately the inner lining is starting to peel off little by little for some reason, so i might get the T21 as a backup sling just in case the Day Sling 3 crumbles on me 😢
That sucks. Did you contact AER about the lining? Sounds like you got a defective bag. I will say, the T21 is a good option and affordable.
@@Pack_roam I have been using the sling for almost a month, so I think it's due to wear and tear. It shouldn't wear out that fast. I didn't buy directly from AER. When I reached out the seller, he told me it's due to wear and there. For me to ship back to AER it's the same cost as buying a new brand sling, so I might as well use it till it's unusable
I was thinking about getting an ultralight sling like the Hyperlite Versa, but thinking about this one, aer, or even the code of bell one now
I’ve been looking at some of the ultralights too, specifically for backpacking trips. Garage Grown Gear has a number of them. The Versa will probably be my pick for a foray into that category. For EDC though, the COFB x-pod is still my favorite as of now. We’ll see though, just got a Samurai from Packolab that I haven’t had a chance to use yet…
Does this accommodate a g19 well?
Black sling on black tshirt on the dark table. Bro just switch off the light and send us voice message
😂 You’re right. I usually try to wear light colored shirts with black bags. I don’t like the dark table either. I’m planning to replace or refinish.
I want to watch your review video but its too dark, with dark background and dark desk dark bag, nothing is clear
I’ll work on that. Thanks for the feedback.
I have de non x-pac version of this sling and I am in love with it. i have just ordered the 5,5 litre to give it a try as, sometimes I have felt this sling a bit to small (Especially when carrying around an action camera inside it with the ret of my gear). However it has more than enough for 95% of my daily carry (and I carry a lot of things)... What I find really awesome about the bag is the length as it allows to have everything really organized inside it and easy access to everything (Although a bit low with some tablets). The boarding pass enters perfectlly so very convenient at airports. One thing you will notice as time goes by, especially using carabiners to hold a small bottle of water and thing like that (It hods realy well) is that the weight o either side may make the sling tilt little by little loosing the position you eel comfortable with it but once you "learn" how it reacts to weights and where you should place heavy items it is absoutelly a great sling. I am also considering getting the updates X-PAC version of this sling as I love it so much and seams easier to clean and a bit more protected (Plus I found prices are going up on Tomtoc products).
Almost forgot, there is an update on the X-PAC version which I really like and no one mentions and it is the new buckle dessign. It has two holes through which you may put some paracord or maybe even a long TSA lock. The first times I wear my sling I was a bit afraid the buckle would open (Nothing to fear after many uses as it is strong and keeps perfectly locked in pace)... however, when travelling in some areas it would be great to keep it more secure as it seems easy for a thieve to pull it open and take it away (Plenty o talk about the secure back pocket but it is not as secure as it may be thought if they can open the buckle and take the whole sling). So a great upgrade from Tomtoc adding those holes in case you want to block the buckle.
Thanks for sharing! Awesome tip on the holes, I’m going to have to check that out when I get back home. I’m going to order the bigger version as well to give it a shot. I love the T21.
I am not a sling guy, but I ordered the regular version a few months ago. I liked the fit, quality, and price. I think tomtoc makes solid products for their price point. I did return it, because I'm not a sling guy. However, if I ever try one bag travel, it might be worth it.
Yes, very solid sling for the price. Great first impression from tomtoc for me. They weren’t really on my radar as a brand, but I’ll be paying closer attention going forward.
I have this bag and the previous version. It is smaller. Still not sure if I will use it?
Tomtoc should make à Ryan air size bag it would be à instant seller
😂
Great video I like it, the bag sounds really good, I just ordered it bigger brother the 5.5 L if it’s too big, I will be going after this one thank you
Thanks! Glad you like it. Great sling if you wind up changing your mind on the bigger version.
@@Pack_roam thank you
Nice just bought an Alpaka Bravo sling mini v2
ALPAKA makes nice gear. I don’t have the Bravo sling, but it’s on my list. What do you think of it?
@@Pack_roam I like everything about it, nice size, quality made. The only thing I would like to have would be a removable strap.
I purchased this on Amazon, haven’t used it yet but noticed that it’s got a plastic duraflex buckle instead of the alloy buckle, but other than that it seems like a solid pack
Did you get the standard version? Without the x-pac?
It is the X-PAC material, same exact bag except for the plastic Duraflex buckle $59 on Amazon. Maybe they ran out of the metal buckle on the day of production of my bag. I would have rather had the metal, but have other packs and bags with Duraflex buckles and never had an issue in terms of reliability. Not a deal breaker it’s a great bag for the money. I’m a Maxpedition guy but I really liked this Tomtoc and gave it a shot. Am not disappointed in the least, good quality for the money Thanks for your video and response!👍
@@webdevnaples5374 I get it. The metal buckle is a nice touch be it doesn’t make or break the bag.
@@Pack_roam Exactly 👍

Hey! I’ve had my eye on that sling, but haven’t been able to commit. It’s definitely on the pricey side. Looks like an awesome sling though, and I’ve got some pouches and RE’s from Data Crew, love the brand. You have an STS?
