Hm.. Well, dogs like Hounds have natural hunting instincts. For example: if you're fishing off of a boat, even if it is not commanded, the dog will jump in after a fish, because it is natural instinct. Either they think it is a toy, or food. Dogs come from Wolves, so the hunting instinct crosses over. Believe it or not, breeds like Hounds and Golden Retrievers are excellent swimmers, and they will give you ample time to help them back to land. The very phrase "doggy paddle" comes from dogs, (obviously). Some dogs are specifically trained to only attack/jump when commanded, like K9 Units or Hunter companions.

Any animal afraid of entering any water should not be forced to do so without training properly nor should they be fucking dragged in by a god damn toddler. (5:19). Noora Hiltunen well here’s the thing the kid doesn’t know any better and it can take people some time to react and also it’s a BATHTUB, it’s won’t kill them and it’s not even tall enough. You can’t generalize on all cats as some like water and cats can swim, the only reason they dislike water is because it makes their fur feel heavy and it takes a bit to dry off. Plus the whole dog boat thing is silly too as the dog had a life vest there was people already in the water watching the dog and other safety measures. Try to do some research and don’t bring up this whole PETA argument as peta kills almost 80% of animals in their shelter and they make ridiculous claims as well.
