I guess the golden rule (don't marry) no longer applies in Canada, and as marriage becomes less common, we will see these insane settlements increasingly around the world. So the future golden rule is "don't marry, don't pay for her expenses on a regular basis".
I understand the point is get a prenup. but one cannot have a continuous sexual relationship in your home without invalidating your aliminy. I callit BS
Counsel, what about in cases where the w0man is more "sneaky" with their affair? You know, they try to cover their tracks, no holding of themselves out in public, no sleep overs... 1.) Can the long arm of the law catch up to that? 2.) How does this husband show the preponderance of evidence for that? 3.) And could you expatiate on what non linear relationships mean? Thanks
The short answer is yes. Many lawyers will not draft a prenup because they can be complex and time consuming. I get plenty of referrals from lawyers who don’t want to draft a prenup.
Alimony is such a stupid illogical act. You divorce someone, of course you face the consequences of such a divorce, eg. Financially.
In usa when was the first prenup drafted signed sealed delivered.
