I think if Volk got demolished by Islam, or was heavily out gameplanned (like Izzy moving up to LHW), then I would understand the trepidation between running back Volk v Islam, but it was razor close. If Volk can be active in both divisions, then I see no issues with letting him rematch for the LW title.
Bisping was insufferable throughout a lot of this, not sure if it was because he was amped post-event. Nick made a great point about Bo Nickal
There's a bit of a bully in Bisping. His enthusiasm is great at times, but I've noticed more often he's interrupting and dismissive of anyone else. That's on here and his own podcast.

Couldn’t help but notice Whittaker after round 1 looked like he seen a ghost. He had a demoralized look on his face. He wasn’t engaged with his coaches on the stool & he looked beat …. DDP must be super strong

Imagine Zabit vs Volkanovski what a fight that would be the only 145er I could see giving volk a huge challenge. Such a shame he got a bad injury man that guy was special. Only the real mma fans will know about Zabit.
He barely beat Calvin Kattar. I think that fight would mirror the Yair fight.

Izzy didn't just steal the moment from DDP. He stole it from Rob. Rob had just lost, DDP was talking him up, then Izzy pops up. The crowd could've showed their support and appreciation to Rob, but Izzy messed it up.

Because of the crowd reaction after the Pantoja fight, Pantoja needs to defend his belt in Brazil, so he's got a crowd behind him. This fight was Fight of the year and what did he get for it (aprt from the title obviously), Boos, loads of boos. Like wtf dude. Even as a Mexican, I'd cheer the guy after a fight like that.

The knock on DDP has always been he gets winded too early. If that's a cardio trained DDP, he could be a nightmare.

A little poor form from Izzy. He has so far done 2 racial slurs and I'm not a fan. It is not necessary. We are all looking forward to the fight. Good on the S African to basically walk away. Good for him. I was a massive fan of Izzy, but after that I am kinda torn. It was just not sporting form.
Commentary for the dricus fight was so bias end of 1st round Rob was in big troule but they made it seem like it was evenly matched with little reaction. DDP 's defensive stance really stood out
Thats because Rob the best side of 4 minutes of the round (close but still favoured rob) then ddp smashed the last 1 making it a close round.
