If there are anymore studio recordings of this band they should release them to honor Joey.
There is a complete album, Open Your Omen, which they were trying to put out and another track featuring Dave Mustaine called Fail Me (My Temple), as well as She Sees Everything and Simple Skeletons. Joey also said he had another albums worth of songs recorded and ready to go as he put it. I really hope Kalen Chase makes it his mission to finally see its release in honour of Joey because he said he was really proud of what they had recorded and he couldn't wait for the fans to hear it. I think he just kept hitting road blocks with things which sent him on a downward spiral. At the time of the three singles release, he had fought his transverse myelitis and was back drumming. I also think he had gotten sober and clean, he was happy with Amanda, whom he said during his Golden Gods award speech, had 'saved him'. I just really think that he kept trying and trying, kept hitting obstacles, I also think Slipknot was his life's blood and when he finally accepted the fact that they weren't gonna let him back, that's when he gave up his fight. I think they should have let him back when they fired Chris but they should have had both Jay and Joey as drummers. Adam and the Ants, in the 1980's had two drummers and sounded good for it, very tribal sounding. It would have worked.
@@thehomelessyoutuber844 I recall reading that the reason Open your Omens was never released is a monetary / songwriting credit dispute between Kris Norris and Joey. Kris publicly raged about it. Unsure what the truth is, but I agree, they should all come together and put it out. For Joey.

I met him 6 times, and I can honestly say that he was one of the nicest people I ever had the privilege to meet. Never once was he a dick to me. He was very down to earth, always tried to take the time for his fans. One time, I asked him to sign a poster for me, and he asked me for my name - I didn't ask for it to be personalised, he did it himself ❤😊😢

I remember the day i discovered scar the martyr. i really liked some of their songs but then i discovered Vimic and sinsaenum. Listening to their three first singles non stop, hyping over their facebook livestream late 2016 and watching all the live shows on youtube. Been super hyped for their debut album since 2016 but now it's all over. This is a brutal punch in the gut realising that Joey has passed away. Fucking heartbreaking to hear but there's nothing that can be done. Your drum work on Follow the storm by STM is flawless, thes pedals were crazy. I'm 100% sure you're jamming with Paul, Vinnie and all the others up there!

I really really love this song, I was a big supporter of Scar the Martyr but I understand things change and people move on. I truly love Kalen's voice and really like the direction that Vimic seems to be going. I am real disappointed in people not taking Joeys health into consideration and making snide comments about his weight...He has dealt with some very tough times and he is back doing what he loves let the man be and let him continue to live his musical dream with this bunch of talented musicians by his side. I am personally looking forward to the full album. Cant wait for the opportunity to fully support Vimic by purchasing all music and plenty of merchandise so that not only with social media I can help get the name out and help these guys fulfill their dreams for this band....Great job guys keep it up!!!!
