I left Toronto 15 years ago I have no regrets leaving the city I’ve been living a better life in a small town and I just take the train into the city when I want to go shopping I still enjoy the luxury’s of the city without having to live there and what’s up with the TTC always breaking down so much for a robust subway system.

I moved to London back in 2022 and I love it. The only problem I have with the city is their decriminalized drug policy. It's a horrible policy and needs to be cut.
I'm pretty sure with more folks moving from the GTA the mayor and city council will have to give in and make some changes.
We thought about it when we bought our 1st house 13 years ago but chose Barrie instead for smaller town life with all the amenities we need. Plus watch where the traffic goes on Friday and where it's coming from. It's Toronto GTA folks going to Muskoka/kawarthas for the weekend. I can drive 10 mins from my house and be in nature (I'm on the north end of Barrie).
Toronto is only good for 3 classes of people:
1) Single or working professional couples
2) The rich politicians
3) Students that just want to study then graduate
not for raising a family?
Give it a few years and London will be Toronto 2.0
